Westbrook INACTIVE. Correll Buckhalter will start in the absence of Westbrook. Tony Hunt will also see some work out of the backfield.

Derrick Ward is active, but reports indicate that Reuben Droughns could start and see more work this week. Plaxico Buress is also active and a solid option.

Hey Jeff let's see on the record how you expect CBuck to perform tonight and if you think losing Westy will hurt the entire Philly offense and McNabb in particular.

Did they seriously say Jeff Feagles is the oldest player in the NFL?

How dumb can you be with Morten Andersen kicking in ATL at 47?

It always seems like Shockey is going to have a huge game against the Eagles, but hes never very involved eary for some reason.

Plaxico limping after that play. Stays in and plays on the weak side; play call is a run to the strong side. The following play, on third and one, he comes off the field and they go with their big package. Field goal attempt coming up.

Hope he's OK.

Wow, Droughns has no vision. If he cuts left on that 3rd down play, he gets 5+ yards. Now I know why he sucks.

The Giants have dealt with the loss of Tiki a lot better than I thought they would.
Tiki was the perfect running back for the Giants while Eli was adapting to the NFL. Teams used to have to plan around Tiki, and that gave Eli room to work. Now that Eli has matured, the opposite is true. While they'd be a better team with Tiki, they don't need him anymore.

This is a good post.

Hey guys what was the official kickoff time of the game? An owner asked for a last minute lineup change and I have to know if it proceeds.

Thanks.

Giants getting to McNabb early, say hello to Justin Tuck folks.
SsssssssssssssssssssseriouslyHe looks like he'll be an excellent player. Anyone curious, looking for someone maybe they haven't seen before or seen much of, he'd be that guy to watch tonight. If Plax continues to limp maybe you'll get to see Mix tooBTW One of the more interesting things to do watching ST is watch pro bowler David Tyree from snap/kick til the tackle.

i don't know that they're good enough to not need Tiki just yet
I don't know that they're good enough to go far without Tiki, but I think they've improved enough that Eli is the centerpiece of the team. When a team faces the Giants right now, they're planning for the passing game, not the running game. I think the same would be true even if Tiki were still there.

The problem has been the defense.
Coverage-it's that simple. Pierce is rock solid. Their DL depth is "sick" and they can get after any QB. I can't imagine Giants fans not being frustrated
Pierce started slow like everyone else. Coverage has been bad for years, the D line has been sick for some time.
