Huard (1 Viewer)

Now that he is healthy, is he a good play this week versus Cincy? I would never dream of playing him otherwise, but I have another unnamed QB that plays for the Tenne...

So what can we expect from him? Will he light it up or at least be a viable option?

Cincy is pretty good at forcing turnovers... so if you're penalized for that I'd look elsewhere.

Personally I'm normally hesitant to start a guy who didn't finish his last game and wasn't sure of his availability for the game I'm considering starting him in until Wed.

I like the match up though and was even added Croyle to start... but the chance that Huard doesn't finish scares me away from the whole situation.

I'm takin a chance with Huard since big ben is on a bye. I planned this out for 2 weeks now.Bengals got lit up by Cleveland who has a stud TE and a solid wideout. So does Kansas City. Their rush d is bad too so LJ could break out and could open up the passing game. I'm gambling. Bengals have no LB's too. ALL injured

I've got Huard in my lineup with Peyton on a bye. Was considering Gerrard, but I really need the chance of a blowup to win my game this week (also have FWP, KJ, Evans, Marshall, and Selvin in byes this week - as well as SJax on the shelf). Huard gives me that. He could completely bust or explode. Who knows? If you just need 15 - 20 points this week, I might look elsewhere for a bit more of a sure thing. But if you need upside, you came to the right place...

My thoughts exactly!! Im in a start 2 QB with Griese as my other guy. I need a miracle!!

But would you start him over Vince? I am tempted, as I had Alex Smith on Vince's bye and then Vince's debacle last week, giving me a grand total of 2 points in 2 weeks from my QBs :lmao: I just cant stomach Vince blowing up on my bench

The Chiefs never said he's healthy. He's their best bet to win so he plays! Should have nice game if he goes all the way.

Had Joey Harrington but I'm worried he might get taken out early if he plays bad

and

Huard's matchup is way too tasty to pass up, I think he'll have a good game.

Huard=300 yards and 2 TD's

I just feel like if I start him, Vince is going to blow up on my bench...and I think I am going to take the position that I will either ride with him or die with him. Cheesy? Yes. Truthful? Also yes.

What's the better shark move this week Lemon vs. Cleveland or Huard vs. Cincy?
The shark move is getting out of the Shark pool and moving this garbage to the Assitant Coaches Forum. Did anyone NOT see the important notcie above from joe?
:lmao: eaaaaaaasy there tex.
there have been countless WDIS threads taking up much of the shark pool. Not the place for it, nor has it been the place for it. I think most of us will agree.

.....except for the mods :hangover: :hey:I am playing LJ and if he blows against this D he is officially hopeless. Might go w/Bowe too. Yes my team is that bad.

Looks like I'm going with Huard too.

Roethlisberger is on bye, and I just traded Rivers away. Got Brees as a secondary part of the deal, but we penalize for INT so I'd rather see if Brees can work his problems out on the bench. Plus, on the road in a tough place to play (SEA) at night doesn't strike me as the game he turns it around, if he ever does.

So I picked up Huard.

The one drawback i see is that CIN, while terrible on defense, has had a week off to adjust, game plan, etc... who knows, maybe they figured something out on the week off and come out a little better.

If Huard can give me 200 and a TD without throwing a pick, I'll be happy.

Between Huard and Griese for a bye week fill in. I'm leaning towards Griese. Vikes secondary is vulnerable too, and the Bears will have to throw because you can't run on them.

My fear with starting Huard this week is that you could run into a first series where Huard comes off the field and says his shoulder "just doesn't feel right".

I have Manning on bye, so I picked up Huard just for this matchup when Delhomme went down. The whole thing with him and Croyle made me sick this week and I picked up Brees in a very small trade (can't believe how far his stock has fallen). So I'll flip a coin between Huard and Brees today.

Just picked up Huard and I'm playing him over Schaub (matchup) and Kitna (bye). Let's hope he lasts the whole game and gives us at least some average numbers.....oh...and one to Bowe please, preferably over 50 yds.

I banking on the chance that Cincy's def is still banged up and soft vs pass even after their bye week. Their have a corner out and I don't think their LB situation has improved.

Huard is a riskier than a few others I could have picked up, but his upside is higher. (griese and Campell were there too and the weather alerts for GB and Chi were it.)
