Game Thread W6 - St.Louis V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

The sports editor of the local paper, an owner in my ff league, emailed me this morning "I'm on my way out to see the worst football game ever."

I am crying on the inside while I watch my beloved Rams.

At least my Beavers are making some noise.

 
I haven't seen the Rams this inept since the Tony Banks era.

If they don't start improving, they're as good of bet as anyone to get the 1st overall. They have the talent to be a good squad, but it's just not there for some reason.

 
Boller is playing this week. Is McNair just out of the game due to an injury and will return next week or has Boller taken over the reigns?

 
FIRE LINEHAN

I said it last week and I'll say it again. The only thing Frerotte has done in the NFL is knock himself out of a game due to his TD celebration.

They need to find other ways of moving the ball, Gus dropping back and throwing isn't going to do anything but give the ball to the other team b/c he is horrible.

I'm concerned that the RB's aren't getting dumpoff catches.

 
McGahee just had his 2nd TD wiped out by a holding call and then Boller floated up a horrible piece of trash that was picked off. Bad luck for Willis owners.

 
This can't be right. The experts said Linehan was an offensive whiz. whoo hooo, 2 catches for Holt, my opponent is in big trouble now

I've had enough of this....Scott Linehan has to go, he can't head coach. Gus Frerotte is a horrible backup QB, and the defense is playing sloppy. Offensive line taking too many penalties. This is about as low as it can get for StL football.

I feel bad for you STL fans....I can't think of a team that deserves their 0-5 start more. They just look awful.
 
what just happened at the end there? only see the gamecast ... says St Louis kneeled down?

edit: i see, their backup QB got injured.

I try very hard to refrain from criticizing the opponents but that is a woeful St. Louis team. They've gotta ask themselves as an organization, "Is Linehan the right guy to rebuild this franchise?"

Unspectacular, businesslike performance by the Ratbirds. They pretty much treated this one like a practice session offensively, resting anyone who was remotely dinged up and giving all the new kids on the Oline some much needed work. Not enough there yet to get it done against the beasts of the AFC looming on their schedule, however.

 
Has anyone else ever seen a LOSING team kneel to end the game? That's just sad. What kind of message does that send your team? Linehan should be fired immediately.
