Game Thread W6 - Miami V Cleveland (1 Viewer)

Call me crazy, but I am excited for this game. I expect to see Lemon surprise a few folks here against the porous Clev. defense.

no i think he's ok, he just ran for a 13yard gain, then Anderson in for the td...

i'm honestly starting to think if they can get the defense together, the Browns could make a run at the playoffs.

that Oakland loss could come back to haunt them though.

man... how many times has Winslow been tackled inside the 5 this year?
i know. but i'm guessing it has something to do with how they are getting him the ball in the middle of the field, where the defense can converge from both sides to make the stop.

Ginn 96 yd kickoff TD return to start the second half = nullified by a holding call.

Jason Wright injured on the play - questionable to return.

are you effing kidding me? on special teams? nice work, romeo, having your starting Rb out there on kick coverage.

I still can't believe there were people on this board questioning Brown's talent heading into this season.

His situation, sure, it looked shaky.

But his talent?

I know. I responded to a few threads in preseason who said Brown wasn't running hard, etc. I was convinced that they never watched any preseason footage as he's been running great since camp.

Yep. I remember reading some of your posts and watching some of the preseason games. I'm convinced that some of the journalists in Miami don't like Brown's personality very much and they picked on him quite a bit... Now they look like idjuts.

i think at this point the Browns have proven their offense is not an illusion.

now they just need to get that defense fixed! :lmao:

Game currently on NFLN.

Watched bits and pieces yesterday on the Ticket, but I think Cleveland would be fine w/o Jamal Lewis. Wright looked solid and Harrison WOW (must be a luxury to have been able to keep him inactive all year. The guy seems to do everything well. Can run inside/outside with tremendous speed. I don't really see why they wouldn't involve him as a change of pacc on gamedays to keep Lewis fresher).

This Cleveland offense is for real. I think it's going to be impossible anytime soon to bench Anderson in favor of Quinn. Cleveland's line did a great job giving time.

I wasn't a huge Ronnie Brown fan coming into the year because he danced so much behind the line, but he's doing a tremendous job carrying the Phins offense. Showed great effort on a 4th and 1 when he was stoned cold behind the line but continued churning and bounced back out to get 3-4 yards out of it. As good of individual effort as you'll ever see.
