Game Thread W6 - Tennessee V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

Lucked into FREE $350 each club level seats for me and the wife.....will be at the game. GO BUCS!

-

Prediction: Bucs 17 Titans 13

Go with the under. Bucs DEF will make Young look bad today. We won't be able to run, I'm thinking Young's turnovers + short field will give us the advantage.

I have TEN winning 20-10, but it would not surprise me either way.

TEN offsides give Bucs second chance on 3d down. Nice pass to Michael Clayton over the middle for the first. But holding call two plays later proves fatal. TEN defense looks very good early.

Haynesworth (appeared) to try and trip Graham, hurt his leg and is being helped off the field

Young badly misses Davis on 3rd and 3. 3 and out for TEN. Garcia takes a shot as he finds Hilliard for nice gain over the middle. Haynesworth appears injured. Replay shows awkward bending of right leg when he stuck it out to try to trip up Graham. Walks off field unassisted.

Young overshoots another WR but a penalty on TB keeps drive alive. Young completes a quick out on the next play but the pass is so high and to the wrong side of the receiver it doesn't go for much. On 3rd down scramble Young runs right into Lendale White and goes down. Young and TEN O look horrible!

It'll be interesting to see how Graham will perform.
Graham is highly involved in the offense.Running Style:Strong big/wide/stocky dude with some juke in him. Many have been putting him down, so far this game i dont know why. First game i have watched. His stats don't show his power and decisivness.Recieving:Lots of called dump passes ala raiders charlie garner.

Dierdorf describes Young's INT as "so amateurish" for failing to ever check to see if WR was covered before heaving it downfield. Apparently Young was supposed to throw it away if Williams wasn't open.

TEN challenges. Defender might have had second foot out of bounds on INT.

White 76 rushes, 246 yards, 3.23 ypc

Brown 57 rushes, 300 yards, 5.26 ypc

Through the first half of today's game. If this continues, Brown will be the lead back sooner or later. Especially since he's the better pass catcher as well.

Titans D is tightening it up. Man, how many more big hits can Garcia take? Who's the backup QB?

If the Titans can start to move the ball, this game is there for the taking. I want to see a little more of Chris Brown this half. I'd also like to see Troupe and Gage line up wide on the same side.

Young trips and injures himself on sideline!

EDIT: Looks he pulled up and intentionally went to the ground. Possible hamstring injury to right leg.

For this particular game, Collins' ability to go downfield could help us.

Not sure why we throw 5 yards on 3rd and 12 there, though.

Get Chris Brown out there. Hall going down really hurt our run game.

barret ruud still playing for the bucs? haven't seen his name involved in a tackle in a long, long time...
He had about 40-50 thru the 1st 5 weeks, how many Bucs games do you watch?
I was meaning during the first half. I guess I have gotten spoiled by him, but he is usually in on a couple of plays each series and he went a long spell there in the 1st half without a tackle or assist. I was afraid he had gotten banged up, but he's been back at it the 2nd half!

After TB punt, Collins remains the TEN QB. Throws an INT to Barber. Play under review.

Overturned. Incomplete pass. Collins then zings a throw for a first down and TEN driving near midfield.

Amazingly stupid play by Collins. TB rushers grab him and to try to avoid the sack Collins, facing backwards, throws the ball down into the ground. Luckily for him refs just call it a sack saying he was in the grasp and control of the defense. But what was he thinking?

This is the second week in a row that I started Young based on a good matchup and a high Footballguy's ranking (top 10 both weeks). He is absolutely killing my team. I realize that he is hurt this week but he was doing nothing in the three quarters that he played. Why so much love for him?

He does possess intangibles that can pull out a win but seriously, will this guy ever put up big fantasy numbers or is he a waste of a roster spot? Let's hear some opinions on him.

Mods- Why was this moved? I think it warrants it's own thread as it's Young specific. Please rethink before burying this 50 posts into this thread. Thank You.

With just over 6 minutes left and TEN needing to drive 75 more yards for the tying TD, Collins is still in. So it looks like Young's done for the day.
