Game Thread W6 - New England V Dallas (1 Viewer)

Patriots' first red zone trip:

First and goal pass to Gaffney.

Second and goal pass to Faulk.

Third and goal TD pass to Moss

And the answer is, it was poor zone coverage. How can you not at least call man zone?

Wilfork with a great stuff on Jones on first down.

And somehow, the defense looks even better with Rodney Harrison back. I can't wait to see how they look with Seymour.

Romo looks like he's playing gunshy.

He's trying not to do what he did last week but to move the ball against that defense he's going to need to thread the needle.

These kind of passes aren't going to do it.

Does the nerd demographic really watch enough football for them to have that World of Warcraft truck commercial on during this game?

I was way off on Watson this year. He looks so much better when he doesn't have to be the focal point of the passing offense.

Interesting coverage on Sunday ticket redzone. They're covering SD - OAK punt instead of Dallas / New England.

Where have you been? There have been techie commercials for years. Nerds have been watching football for quite some time.

3rd downs are absolutely killing the Cowboys.

When I watch New England, it certainly is pretty. What I mean is you can actually see the design of the play as it's being run.

When certain guys need to be blocked, they are. Then there are guys that are intentionally not blocked.

What's even more impressive is New England for the most part has been one dimensional. On 3rd and mid range Dallas has not stopped them but that one time.

On the flip side, the Dallas offense has been bad. I don't think they've been aggressive enough to challenge this team yet. Now that they're down 14 they may decide to but where's that kind of play calling when it's tied at the beginning.

I'd rather go out swinging and take a punchers chance than get beat like this.

I'm surprised that's on there...LOL. My Dad (about 60) calls me during a commercial to rant about how the Cowboys can't stop them right now and then says, " and what's with these video game commercials during this game?"

Props iwannabe...you're in here reppin' the Boys when noone else is to be found...

I do not like Crayton at all.

Why would he hold the football out there like that? He playing basketball?

Strong play by Crayton to hold on to the ball on second down, although he followed it up by slipping on the third down play.
