The Denver Post reports there is a "hope" that Javon Walker could rejoin the team sooner than the six week estimate given after his surgery.

Walker is a week removed from the surgery, so the optimism is good news for someone who isn't guaranteed to return at all this season. The original estimate would have had Walker returning for Week 13, making him someone playoff-bound teams should store on their bench.

I dont think he will make it back unless Dever goes to the playoffs. He wont be worth using the first week back anyway. Best case IMO is week 15..

 
also, I would urge fantasy owners to keep in mind that this is the same Javon Walker that seems to embellish his health status. Walker owners wll remember a certain game earlier this season where Walker guaranteed the fans that he would play and he did not. Talk from a player really is not worth a whole lot.

:shrug: Then he said he was going to play again, the next day he was in surgery :confused:
 
I don't believe a damned thing coming out of Denver regarding injuries.

This is probably a 'feel good' story since Javon's old team is coming to town.

Move the drill... I'll worry about Javon Walker when he's practicing again.

 
They "hoped" Andre Johnson would be back sooner too - as early as a week or two after his injury.

Um, yeah.

 
Walker is done. I own walker and I'm not getting my hopes up. If this is true then what a horrible job the Bronco's did with managing his injury. Lets sit him out two weeks, wait for the bye week, then almost a week after his bye week lets opt for surgery.

If he had a chance of coming back so soon I doubt they would have held out on surgery as a last option.

You must be a unemployed mechanic, right :thumbup: Not that it matters much, but I thought Shanny said 3-4 weeks *hopefully* before the operation. Maybe Walker will come off life support for the playoff run. :shock:
