ESPN's John Clayton reports there's a "decent chance" Ronald Curry (foot) could miss Sunday's game against the Texans.

Curry was unable to finish Wednesday's practice. The Raiders are the NFL's thinnest team at wideout, with only rookie Johnnie Lee Higgins and recent signee Tim Dwight as backups behind Jerry Porter and Curry. Check how the week goes, but Curry could wind up as a game-time decision in Week 9.

Nov 1 Curry couldn't finish Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury he suffered in last week's game agasint Tennessee, the Oakland Tribune reports.

Recommendation: Following practice, Curry said that the injury wasn't significant. "My foot is fine. It's just one of those things where you take a little time," Curry said. "I could have practiced if I really had to. I could have played if I really had to. I'm not going to miss any time." More about Curry's staus will be known over the next few days, but it looks like the injury shouldn't affect him against Houston on Sunday.

With McCown starting, Curry could be a nice play if he's healthy.

I am in such bad shape at QB, I have to start this guy Then again, anything is better than Vince Young.

But it will make for an interesting week...I think he could help those around him. It would be nice to see a better running game to bolster his stock a bit, but one can't expect much.

Ronald Curry (foot) was limited at Raiders practice Thursday.

This is the second straight day he's been limited, which isn't encouraging. Curry may be a game-time decision, but is confident he'll face Houston.

Despite "taking it easy" in practice this week, the Oakland Tribune reports that Ronald Curry (foot) is expected to face Houston.

Curry is listed as questionable on the injury report and didn't practice at all on Friday after being limited the previous two days. While his matchup against the Texans would normally be favorable and indications are that Curry will play, he's not worth waiting for in an afternoon game unless you have viable alternatives playing at the same time or on Monday night.

Can anyone post the exact article from Oakland Tribune mentioning Curry? I went to the Tribune Website and couldn't find this "taking it easy" mention. A search for articles with his name in it, didn't talk about his status this week.

Sporting News takes the same quote from the Tribune in the post above and thier "Take" on it is =don't worry about Curry, he'll should be in your lineup.

Kind of opposite from the "take" in the post above.
