In other news, RB Travis Henry and S John Lynch were limited in their on-field work, and both will be game-time decisions. Shanahan also said that he expects QB Jay Cutler to be ready to play Sunday.

RotoWire says Henry is out:

Henry (knee) is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. Selvin Young will start and receive the bulk of the carries. He racked up 120 total yards on 24 touches the last time Henry was inactive and is a decent option against the Chiefs’ run defense. We'll check back on Henry's status leading up to next Sunday.

Henry, Lynch Inactive for Chiefs

Neither Travis Henry nor John Lynch will be in uniform today, as both were deactivated by the Broncos this morning.

Lynch had been limited in practice throughout the week, while Henry sat out the practices on Wednesday and Thursday before being in uniform on Friday. Both were considered game-time decisions heading into the morning.

Joining them on the inactive list are running back/fullback Mike Bell, offensive lineman Isaac Snell, defensive ends Larry Birdine and Paul Carrington and wide receiver Javon Walker. Quarterback Darrell Hackney is the Broncos’ other inactive player, but he is in uniform per the NFL’s rules regarding third quarterbacks.

Birdine and Carrington had both been signed to the 53-man roster on Tuesday. Defensive lineman Josh Mallard and wide receiver Taylor Jacobs also joined the club that day amidst a flurry of roster moves, but they are active and in uniform for today’s game.

It's funny that a few weeks back it was an inconvenience wasting a roster spot on Young but now the same could be said for Henry. Henry has truly cost me a few close games this year and I am excited to see young today.

So is Young a good start this week, I know that KC has a good defense??? Curious to know your thoughts?
He did very well against a good Green Bay defense in his last start. In a PPR he's a very good start in my opinion. Solid RB2. Tough to count on a TD given the Broncos' red zone issues but I think Young should be good for 60+ rushing yards and 3-4 receptions for another 35+.

ugh! just picked up Henry of the WW two days ago to relieve Gore this week. Looks like I'm stuck hoping Gore will play tomorrow night. :kicksrock:

I read a quote, dont remember where, from Mike Singletary saying Gore looks great, FYI.Young should be a good start this week, especially if Cutler's leg makes him immobile and he has to dump off.

How long do you hold on to this guy?

When is his trial set for and how long do you think it will take before the NFL axes his season?

Obligatory "any new info" bump. And a short prayer that his suspension starts this week, so I can drop him.

If Henry gets a suspension on Monday does he immediately begin to serve it or does he get an appeal?

The meeting on Friday was his appeal.
The Denver Rocky Mountain News reports Broncos RB Travis Henry's long-term status won't be known until NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reaches a decision on his suspension appeal. The Broncos are expected to be notified whether Henry will have to serve the suspension by either Tuesday or in the days immediately after the Broncos' Nov. 25 game in Chicago. "I don't know if it will be two days later or nine days later," HC Mike Shanahan said. "It all depends on how long they meet and how long it takes them to make a decision."

Also:

The Denver Post reports if Broncos RB Travis Henry (left knee) cannot play Monday night against the Titans, Broncos rookie RB Selvin Young will start and would be the Broncos' running back the rest of the season. Henry is attempting to be cleared from allegations he failed a positive test for marijuana. If the NFL rules against Henry, he could receive an immediate 16-game suspension, the punishment for third-time offenders.

Thanks.

That's it, dropped. What a dissapointment, but I feel like a great weight has been lifted.

Since this thread was about LAST Sunday, I'm shutting it down.

Feel free to find the pertinent Henry thread and post for Sun/Mon updates.
