The Newark Star-Ledger believes Derrick Ward (groin, ankle) is a "long shot" to play on Sunday against the Vikings. Ward is listed as doubtful. With Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) also likely out, it appears running back duties will mostly fall to Reuben Droughns, with rookie Ahmad Bradshaw possibly getting a few touches. Ward might be a game-day decision, but never upped his practice load from the "limited" listing. If Ward and Jacobs are inactive, Droughns would be a marginal RB2/flex in a tough matchup. Giants coach Tom Coughlin says Ahmad Bradshaw will be the team's No. 2 running back in Week 12. It doesn't sound like the Giants are counting on Derrick Ward (groin, ankle) for much of a role even if he's active. Bradshaw, an explosive rookie, will likely act as a change of pace for fill-in starter Reuben Droughns
