Try the "hot" Drew, Holt, and Hass....then go up against Chad Dixon, I mean Johnson, Driver, and Witten. Typical though; I have a string of players going off when I play them nearly every friggin week (highest PF by far in our league).The worst part is I PAID for this weekly torture-fest. :lmao:
 
Thought I had a shot after Romo and Addai put up fairly low points against me on Thursday. Today - Ocho Cinco and the Minny D hammer me for 28 points each.

My trio of Roy Williams, Lee Evans, and Andre Johnson have combined for 6 catches this week.

And here I thought I'd be set with these guys.

 
In one league: Rudi, Branch, Cooley, TB Bucs D/ST all on the bench. Also started Lee :goodposting: Evans. And that wind in STL must be wicked with Josh Brown shanking a 46 yard FG. Why the hell do I even bother?

Started Bulger & Hackett :pickle: Addai was pulled often cuz of his injury. Benched Minny defense for GB defense. Still up 40 pts thanks to Chad & Jamal. But Im going against Brady :hifive:

I went to School at Kansas. Live in KC and root for the Chiefs. Both just lost to their rivals. Kansas blows the chance at a national championship.

I traded a guy Randy Moss for AP before the season and I play the guy this week. He starts the Minnesota Defense and still has Moss going. I started Reggie Bush. I also traded for Holt this week to start against him. A fine recieving corp of Andre Johnson, Donald Driver, Holt & Shockey. Nice.

Today blows in every way possible.

 
I could very well go 0-4 in my leagues this week. In one league I have the second highest score so far...but I am going against the highest scoring player. :confused: None of their offensive players has gotten anything less than 8 points and all but one of them has gotten over 12 points.

In one league where I was ahead, he just went up by a point and he still has Moss and Welker to play. I have Westbrook. At least I've clinched a playoff spot there, but still.

In the one league where I am up by a bunch, I'm going against Brady, Moss, Stallworth, and the New England D. I have Willie Parker left. With the way the Patriots have been playing, that's going to be a loss.

In my must-win league, I have a prayer of winning, but only if Heath Miller and Willie Parker have a huge game vs. Miami.

In my big money keeper league this year, I have Benson, Ronnie Brown, Cadillac, and AD. After today I will be down to one healthy starting RB in the form of the mighty Justin Fargas. :lmao:

And of course I benched the Vikings D for the Giants D. Doh!

LT deserves to have his stud status ripped from his chest. A stud RB does not fail to perform against good defenses. That's all he's done this year. He has been nothing but dismal against decent defenses.

 
I got home late today and as I was looking at stats I thought I was extremely lucky to not have started Bulger today. I then went to check on my other QB I went with-Garcia :bag: :shrug:

 
Where do I start?

My opponent has Favre and Crosby....put up 47 pts against me.

My opponent takes out Thomas Jones at the last minute and inserts.....guess who......Kolby Smith :thumbup:

I am getting killed 117-44 going into the 4pm games. I have A Hall, Gates, and Boldin, and my opponent has Cutler and Walker :lmao: . During the middle of the 3rd quarter I narrowed his lead to 12 (I have Parker and Roethlisberger going Mon night, my opponent has Watson tonight), when Hall went over 100 yds rushing and Gates caught his 2nd TD pass. Here's the events in the DEN-CHI game from the middle of the 3rd quarter on.....

1) Cutler throws a TD bomb to Marshall.......9 pts for opponent.

2) Hall loses 8 yds on an end around.....I lose 5 pts....1 for yardage and 4 pt bonus for over 100 yds.

3) Hall gets 4 more carries for 2 yds and leaves the game.

4) Cutler throws a pass to Scheffler for one of the luckiest catches I have ever seen.

5) Cutler completes a pass and went over 300 yds passing.....and gets a 3 pt bonus.

My opponent gets 20 pts, I get -5 pts, and now I am losing by 37. Still have a chance, but it will be much harder.

 
Ok, seriously. The Pats have been straight up dry-####### me almost every week. I've lost 3 games this year on a late-game TD pass. Last week, I needed 1 FG out of G'ki. 4th and 1, twice, and they went for it. I lost by .7. This week, my division rival is facing Maroney. If Maroney gets only a few points, he'll lose and I win the division outright.

It's getting old, I'm past laughing it off right now.

 
:rolleyes: ........started Garcia instead of Warner. Rest of my squad peformed well, and I was up by 14. My opponent had Welker left, and we're a PPR league. Needless to say the game is lost. Bleh.......sometimes you just have to go with your gut!!!!

Sat Palmer.

Here's to hoping Big Ben, Ward, and Miller have a good game. Because they are playing Miami and the weather I now hear they are going to be getting I am not looking for huge production. They will definately be running the ball most of the night. Probably should have started Palmer but we will have to see I guess.

 
Yes I agree and I benched the Viking defense for the great Cards D. I must say that this year's Footballguy advice has been very lame. Very lame!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have some insight on the Card defense- they suck at home especially at home! Kevin Faulk? Never EVER let the Footballguys tell you that he is a worthy WW pickup EVER!

 
Well, I didn't get this from FBG, I made this particularly brilliant decision all by myself. My only consolation is that the Titans D that I dropped to get them actually did worse. :goodposting:

Got eight.

Because I was an idiot and started Lendale "Dinner Bell" White instead of Ryan "Will he Make It Through a Whole Game?" Grant.
