Game Thread W12 - Baltimore V San Diego (1 Viewer)

Going to be a long day for LT and the Chargers today. The SD offensive line is no longer capable of opening holes.

 
Not a lot of people around this weekend. normally this thread would be full of people.

I'm confused about something. How is it that LT did so well his 1st two years behind one of the worst offensive lines in recent memory yet this year he struggles to find running room?

 
I can't believe they didn't call Jammer for PI when he actually committed it.

Wow, LT is flat-out disappointing. I'm sure someone's going to bend the stats here, but he simply hasn't put up stud numbers this year. A measly two games over 100 yds? 9 TDs, but 4 coming against the sad sack OAK defense? Is it the SD line's fault? Norv? Rivers? Too many offseason commercials?

What happened to this guy?

What is this guy's excuse this time? IIRC, he hasn't even warranted a single target. Not watching the game, but it seems as if Darling has become the #2. And on a side note, I thought only McNair had the hard-on for Mason. It is apparent that both he and Boller do. Mason must be performing some special acts in the locker room.

he's still among the best all-around in the NFL, but he's slowly losing his supremacy. Hell, some will say ADP and Westbrook are better now. Wear and tear will do that, he's still going to be top 5ish, but the days where he can throw the team on his back and dominate are fewer. And I own LT in both of my dynasty leagues, so I love the guy. Just calling it as I see it.

Gotta agree. LT is not a stud anymore. A stud you start against anyone. He is a matchup RB. He has not performed well against a single decent run defense this year. He has been downright awful this year considering the expectations people had coming into this year. Sure he catches passes. But if he can't run the ball worth a damn, no defense is going to respect it.
 
There's some more of the self-destruction that we Baltimorons have witnessed the past few weeks. The rest of you are in for a real treat now -- watching the Ravens' high-powered passing attack playing catch up.

Unrealistic expectations.Same thing that has happened to LJ and will happen to Adrian Peterson. He has 10 TD's in 11 games BUT.... and your sure someone else is going to bend the stats? In my league he's #3 RB and people complain. Let's see.... LT/SJ/LJ/Gore were pretty much the consensus top 4 backs and LT owners are complaining? I think you have to bend the stats to complain.

Look at Chad Johnson last year. He did really well in a couple games and horrible in the rest. He was not a good fantasy player last year. LT is the same this year. He has a couple good games a lot of really crappy ones. To top it off, he's done below average against good defenses. A stud shows up even against good defenses. LT has not.
