Game Thread W12 - Denver V Chicago (1 Viewer)

Berrian has cost himself millions with his piss poor play this season. He needs to go up and fight for that ball...

That was a little PI there on Paymah but you are right he has to help his QB out there by at least attempting to go for that ball.

I LOVE that call going for it on 4th down there. Field goals early don't win you ballgames. If you go for it and fail, Chicago gets the ball on the 29, which isn't bad starting field position at all. The fact that Denver converted is gravy, but I would have loved that whether Denver converted or not.

I also love Denver pulling out the option. Mike Shanahan, for all of his faults, is the best in the league at changing up his offensive gameplan from week to week. You think you know what Denver's offense wants to do, and then all of a sudden they're lining up in the wishbone or running the option.

Another point to add there, if they did kick the FG there they would've had to kickoff to Hester, which could go for six any time. They went for it and if they didn't get it, at least there would be no return possibility for Hester.

Cart out... Benson's could be done for the season (wouldn't surprise me looking at the play/afterward). Zero weight on the leg.

He is being carted off---first week I have ever started him this year---against my own team none-the less.

Great play call and great run by Hall. Looks like another RB controversy is brewing in Denver.
Not really. Shanahan's no flake. Hall's playing well, but he's just making the plays he's supposed to make. I haven't seen anything out of him to make me think that a shakeup of the depth chart is imminent.Unless you mean there's going to be a forum controversy. In that case, yeah, this week is going to be hell.

Dierdorf (on Benson) - "Fantasy guys know him, they love him". They do?
I think he was talking about Peterson.
Thanks - My mistake. That restores my faith in humanity.
Frank Gore broke an 11 yard TD run against Arizona. One announcer says "that guy just doesn't get the recognition he deserves", and the other announcer responded with "fantasy guys know him, they love him".Not this year, they don't.

Nice 15 yard punt, Chicago. This is why I'm glad that Shanahan goes for it on 4th down at that part of the field.

Javon getting no looks... Was him being active just a ploy???
It's halfway through the second quarter. Last week, someone was asking what was wrong with Marshall, and then on the first drive of the second half every single pass got thrown his direction. Give it some time.

That was the "wussiest" attempted takcle I've ever seen by a QB...nice job Jay!

EDIT: Fred Miller just screwed Grossman/Olsen out of a beautiful TD pass....just retire already Fred...you suck!
