My team in No Mercy set the record for most points in a season... not bad considering there are 96 teams in the league...and it has been around for a few years...

Just beat the 13-0 Brady, Moss owner in the first round of the playoffs. I benched Addai and Shaun Alexander to start E. Graham and R. Grant. Of course Manning won it for me before they took him out in the 3rd QT.

Dodged a bullet this week. Started Jason Campbell (3.80 points) and Sidney Rice (3.10) over Jay Cutler (31.96) and Anthony Gonzalez (28.40) and still won my playoff game by 25 points.

Graham/Gado/Cutler. I was 'that guy' in a couple of leagues who beat somebody they probably shouldn't. I plan on spending a few posts in the venting thread after next week.

I love hearing this.

;) at "benching" SA for Graham or Grant. SA'd have to pay me to start him over either of those two guys.Kudos though, I'm facing the lucky owner of Moss Brady next week for the championship. Easy, noob work league where everyone thought the draft was noon (and it was on the east coast) and so at 9 myself and 1 other were the only guys live drafting (and he was the LT owner). I just beat him today despite virtual goose eggs from ADP and TO. But homey next week literally lucked into the Brady-Moss combo as he was still sleeping when they joined his team. I still have the most points for in the league despite that combo he has. But fun leagues are just that, for fun.

While I have a possible early exit in the playoffs of my dyansty league (see the venting thread).

I'm in here to brag about the quality of my 10 team IDP dynasty team for the year's to come (this is year 1):

QB: C. Palmer, J. Cutler, K. Clemens

RB: A. Peterson(MIN), L. Johnson, M. Jones-Drew, J. Lewis, M. Turner

WR: C. Johnson(CIN), B. Marshall, M. Harrison, T. Ginn

TE: J. Witten, O. Daniels, G. Olson

K: N. Folk

DL: A. Schobel, T. Hali, K. Gregg, J. Hall

LB: P. Willis, J. Beason, M. Wilhelm, AJ Hawk, P. Pozsluzny

DB: S. Jones, L. Landry, S. Knight

As you can see, I'm set at the core positions (RB & LB) with quality and a ton of depth and have no really weak positions.

The only thing I need is another stud DL (thanks to all 3 of my draft picks bombing this year) and I would consider this team flawless.

These teams were eliminated from playoffs

owner with Tom Brady

owner with ADP

owner with LT

owner with Moss

I actually rolled the dice with Samkon Gado and Chester Taylor, what a week!

Reverse the curse! I have my first first round playoff win since 2001. I have been snakebit - making the playoffs every year as a top 3 seed and then losing to a low seed. This year I avenged one of my only 2 losses in the regular season. So I move on to face the other team that beat me this year (actually I split with him).

Reverse the curse, baby!

I won despite have Campbell and Henry in. Warner and Young on the bench. Lucky for me the other guy had Peterson as his starting RB1 and TO has is WR. Mind you having Westbrook and Witten also worked in my favor.

Nothin I did, but still love this.

Last year I traded Driver and Addai for Leinart and Greg Lewis. I hated it, but I had no QB (both injured), Driver was out with a high ankle sprain, and Addai was definite 2nd fiddle to Rhodes. This guy beat me in the semis, and has hardly shut up about it since.

This year, after he drafts Addai in the 1st, gets the top seed in the playoffs, he benches Addai this week to play AP2. That's right, Adrian Peterson, Chicago, over Joseph Addai. And my wife's team beat the crap out of him. BuBye! The Mrs. and I are on opposite sides of the semi brackets, and I'm hopin for #1 and #2 prize money stayin in the family!!

Joined a new league this year and didn't realize there was a consolation bracket ... Traded away all my RBs for high draft picks. Long story short, won in the first round of the playoffs with starting RBs of J.J. Arrington and Dwayne Wright.

With our scoring system, highest score has been 19X. well this week I broke the 200 barrier...up to 225 This earned me a win over a guy that has beat me twice already this year. 3rd time is a charm!!!

QB Drew Brees

WR Greg Jennings

WR Brandon Marshall

RB Jamal Lewis

RB Ryan Grant

TE Antonio Gates

K Jason Hanson

DEF Minnesota

D Patrick Willis

D David Harris

In 7 leagues this year, mix of dynasty, keeper, redraft. I have made it to the Final Four in 6 of the 7.

In one other unique league I finished 2nd of 16 teams. It is a 64 team league, four bracket winners will face off for the Final Four.

:lmao:

To top off the greatness of this roster, I have just pulled off a lucky win in the first round of the playoffs and am still alive for a chance at the championship this year.

I am only halfway home in the first round of playoffs in my work league (playoff round lasts two weeks for each of two rounds).

However, thanks to injuries I am fielding the following lineup -

qb - peyton manning

rb1 - MJD

rb2 - Aaron Stecker (I lost Reggie Bush)

flex - Jerious norwood (I lost Derrick Ward, and before him Cadillac Williams)

wr1 - Lee Evans (I lost Roy Williams)

wr2 - Kevin Curtis (Anquan Boldin hurt)

te - Dallas Clark

k - Stephen Gostkowski

dt - Chargers

I thought I'd be down 40 or 50 points after the first week - but I lucked into being up 27 points. This lineup is probably the worst lineup I have ever fielded in 17 years of fantasy football. Something to be said for luck.

My bench is a litany of nobodies - Ad Peterson Chi, Bryant Johnson, Kenny Watson, Bironas, Pats D (okay, they are at least decent)

The team I am facing is loaded -

Brees, McGahee, Portis, Fargas, Fitzgerald, Holt, Chad Johnson, Andre Johnson, Winslow, Steelers, Kris Brown

It will be funny as hell if I pull this off - just not very likely. My 27 point lead will evaporate quickly this week.

I doubled up the points my foe got this week - each player with the exception of Chad Johnson scored double digits. And I had to start Garrard with Bulger on the bench.

Best part?

The other owner is my younger brother.

It's gonna be a long off season for him....

I won my league by less than one and a half points: 1576.5 to 1575.1. Couple hundred $ difference in payouts. YES!

I was down 28 points in the first round playoff game going into Monday night - The only guy on my team that had done anything this week was Witten - I got less than 5 points from Fargas & Maroney combined, Kitna sucked, and so did Driver and my kicker (2 pts). Shaun McDonald got me some points.

But....Had Colston and New Orleans D vs. the Falcons

Got the win easily
