Um - where is adp?
He got his rush for -2. Now Taylor is back in.
ADP will be fine, don't worry.
1st quarter almost over. No Peterson. That makes sense considering what Peterson did in the last game.
Yet they leading 10 - 0. I guess Childress has Taylor in his fantasy lineup today.
Heh, yeah. Maybe they are saving Peterson for garbage time like they did for Taylor last week.

Memo to the rest of the NFL. The Vikings are for real.

Dangerous playoff team. The might be the 6th seed, but there are not the team your going to want to play.

I think Childress having Taylor in his fantasy lineup makes sense at this point.

If the Vikes are walking this game do they spare ADP?
Maybe. We could also see a bunch of CT/ADP in the 2nd half with the way this game is going. ADP always does better in the 2nd half anyways.
He won't play ADP with a big lead - no sense in wearing him out. This is about as bad a start to the game as you can get for ADP owners.
Run of -6 near the red zone for Peterson. :potkettle:

They're trying to run, San Fran is just selling out to stop it...

and as I type this Taylor breaks off an 84 yard touchdown. Wow.

Just goes to show that you should never start expecting guys to go for 100+ and multiple tds every week... especially rookies, and especially injured rookies.

Meanwhile, Chester Taylor runs 80+ for a td. Remind me again why Childress doesn't give all the carries to ADP?

WHOO HOOO!!! I have Taylor, but no Peterson. Got screwed out of Peterson in the rookie draft. Now I have to start Taylor, and he hooks me up in a big way during my team's first playoff game this season. THANK YOU CHESTER!!

Taylor still in there. Looks like Peterson was nothing more than a really bad decoy today. Amazing that the guy leading the league in rushing yards would be demoted when he is supposedly healthy enough to play. Yes, the Vikings are leading. However, Peterson didn't even start the game. Luckily it worked out for Childress this time.

I started both, but it won't matter, I'm gonna lose with out AD doing something.

Oh well, out in the first round of the playoffs. :lmao:

Thanks for those words of wisdom.

Wow, you mean we shouldn't expect a player to go for 100 yards and multiple tds each week? How come I have never thought of that!

Nice...But in contraast to what Notinuse, you really shouldn't expect the league's leading rusher to be on the bench when he can run the ball while the backup starts. It also isn't reasonable to assume a -2 yard day. I don't think we'll see any Peterson in the second half.

so no one thinks AP will get carries in the 2nd half? Have you not watched him this year. He can score as much in 1 half as a lot of backs do all game. I'm holding on to hope (AP owner who left Taylor on the bench  )

OK - don't get the game - is ADP even going in at all or is he on the bench? UGH!!! Tied for 1st and the other guy is losing - all I have to do is get something from him and I win the season $ - C'mon, people!!! How hard is it to get something from the guy who is already talked about as the #1 overall fantasy pick for next year??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

He's got 6 carries for -2 yards, Taylor has 6 for 99 and a TD. Sounds like AP is off his game. It happens.

Let me know how it works out for you.

I'm referring to the insane expectations some people on this board have for him. All the people who were wondering why Childress even bothers to play Taylor and saying that ADP is a god, best RB in the NFL, etc. Not saying he isn't very good, just that he will have his ups and downs like everyone else and that he hasn't quite entered into LDT "expect 10+ points every week" territory. Close though. Also that Taylor is a decent RB, which a lot of people seemed to have forgotten... and that perhaps most of MIN RB success is due to their O-line.

so no one thinks AP will get carries in the 2nd half?
I guess anything's possible, but why in the world would he?Coming off an injury like that, if you are in total control of a game as they are, don't take any chances.
:goodposting: AS much as I need AP to have a solid game for fantasy purposes, I don't think Brad Childress cares. Rest Peterson if they continue with this lead, no need to risk getting injured, and Taylor is playing well.

Blame me.. I got my ADP jersey yesterday and threw it on before game time. :/

I own him and (like most) needed solid numbers from him today...
