Williams now the team leader in recieving yards this season. Not to mention he has added to his team record number of touchdowns this season- 10.Very quietly becoming the red-zone force he was expected to be.![]()
Shades of the past there.Chad Owens FTW.![]()
TWO???Wow!![]()
One in the waning seconds of the first half, and another on the opening kickoff of the second half.It has to be a record for the least game-time in between two KO returns for TDs by the same guy.
Yeah, that was pretty impressive. Why couldn't he shine like that as a Bills player last year? One in the waning seconds of the first half, and another on the opening kickoff of the second half.It has to be a record for the least game-time in between two KO returns for TDs by the same guy.

Excellent break down with nothing to quibble about from me.Bri said:If the announcers praise the Jags special teams coach one more time after his special teams stink.....Hats off to Andre's speed. Amazing that he's had trouble making a team for years and has had such an impact on the Texans doing whatever needs to be done. If ya missed it, he's also been in on tackles on ST too.Matt Jones is playing great. How come JDR didn't play him more this year? You can't help but jump to that Q right? Next Q that jumps in my head is, is he being featured as trade bait in 2008?Jacoby looks the best I've seen him as far as legs and moves. Granted I don't see them every week but he looked hurt and not 100% last time I saw him. Rosenfels continues to look like a guy that gets it done and puts alot of points on the board. I was excited about the Jags backup DE in the beginning but Owen has oWned him ever since. RC, Walker looked OK but seemed like he was just giving Dayne a breather. Vonta Leach may be the best FB at openning up holes. You "can't" watch him and NOT think anyone could do well running behind him.Haven't heard much of Mario but Okoye got in there.I like watching Gray. Garrard's minimal mistakes may make this team win more games but Gray is much more fun to watch. Quite an arm on him.Kevin Walters is the Texans leading receiver with 75(or so) catches. He had a couple excellent games but I'd think Davis or Andre(monster pace but out long) or Owen would have been the one with the most. Kubiak's got himself a nice receiving corps.VERY interesting that the Texans are 7-3 outside their division but 0-5 within.See Demeco coverring deep? He's so talented it's crazy
1.) Dropped balls and lazy routes. 2.) Very possibly. Lots of potential but, honestly, I don't see where he fits on this team. This all hinges on if we try and extend Wilford- which i think needs to be done. However, he'd probably only net a 5th at best, not a very significant return. In the end, I do hope we keep him. Was paid under 600k this season and has played well in spots. I'd like to see what another year with WR coach Monken can do to his overall abilities. Besides, trading away his production for a late day 2 pick would be assinine if not for financial reasons.Bri said:Matt Jones is playing great. How come JDR didn't play him more this year? One thing to note on Jones, the Texans corners are not really that good, and with the exception of the rookie Fred Bennett are 5'9 180 ish. Basically, he owned Houston's CBs because he was physically dominate versus all of a sudden resolving whatever issues he has in his game.1.) Dropped balls and lazy routes. 2.) Very possibly. I disagree. If he's deadweight, trade him. It doesn't do the franchise any good really. Walker and Sharon just rotted on PS or IR and this hinderred their development. Broussard barely played WR this year too. Something has to be a signal that it's time to move on and when he's 5th and producing little....that's it IMO. You can't say "what if" forever, at some point ya gotta put your foot down and live with it.Ron Dayne was in this game, as you know, and the Gmen probably feel OK about him doing well and not slighted like why didn't he do that for us. They gave him plenty of chances and it didn't work out-like Matt and Jax. They now have Ward and Jacobs rolling with Droughns as depth for FB and RB. Droughns is only there because they put their foot down and said enough's enough with Tim Carter-one of the fastest WRs ever IMO(he just flew) with good hands but his football acumen is zilch and he gets hurt so often it's almost scary. The Pats made an unhappy move in getting rid of Reche Caldwell but it was clear he was going from 1st to way down the receiving depth chart in just the offseason. That worked out well. He's on a team with Brandon Lloyd whom the 49ers had enough of hearing about his potential, like Matt. It goes on and on and I just feel like this year was their signal, time to cut Matt Jones loose. He might be liked by the fans, he might still have a wealth of potential but, it's time.1.) Dropped balls and lazy routes. 2.) Very possibly. they learned nothing from the best small corner in recent years, Aaron GlennBTW He'd probably be a good DB coach as he had to master angles and positioning himself and reading the QB etcOne thing to note on Jones, the Texans corners are not really that good, and with the exception of the rookie Fred Bennett are 5'9 180 ish. Just to note, Glenn has not been on the Texans since after 2004 season and with the exception of Faggins and Robinson (hurt), did not play with the guys getting torched yesterday.they learned nothing from the best small corner in recent years, Aaron GlennBTW He'd probably be a good DB coach as he had to master angles and positioning himself and reading the QB etcOne thing to note on Jones, the Texans corners are not really that good, and with the exception of the rookie Fred Bennett are 5'9 180 ish. Though Glenn was on the field yesterday. He's currently a third string cornerback for the Jaguars. I hadn't realized he was still in the league until he made a tackle yesterday.Just to note, Glenn has not been on the Texans since after 2004 season and with the exception of Faggins and Robinson (hurt), did not play with the guys getting torched yesterday.they learned nothing from the best small corner in recent years, Aaron GlennBTW He'd probably be a good DB coach as he had to master angles and positioning himself and reading the QB etcOne thing to note on Jones, the Texans corners are not really that good, and with the exception of the rookie Fred Bennett are 5'9 180 ish.
