Combine Invite List (1 Viewer)

Suprised no invite for Danny Woodhead - Chadron State (DII).

Has the record for most rushing yards in a season, most rushing yards career. 7,871 career rushing yards, 109 TDs, 9,479 total yards (2nd all time behind Barry Sanders, and he doesn't return kicks). Averages about 26 carries a game. Had a foot injury that limited him the second half of this year, so he only finished with ~1600 yards and 27 TDs. Two time Harlon Hill trophy winner (DII Heisman).

He's small at 5' 7" 195, but has been electronically timed by Falcons scouts at 4.41 seconds in the 40.

ETA: Look at the pictures on the website... kid has treetrunks for legs

Wouldn't trust any list but what shows up here on 2/1...although it's usually late:

For a small school RB, no Jamar Brittingham would more surprising than Woodhead and definitely more suprising than the small school RBs they have on that list. I figured Brittingham and Omon, maybe John Randle. Woodhead is the classic type of player they ignore. The Pats will probably take him in the sixth round.

Official list is up:

Just looking at RBs, Omon, Hilliard, and Simpson are the only small school guys to make the cut. No Brittingham or Woodhead is disappointing.

Leon Hart has to be Mike Hart...although I thought Leon was a decent CB prospect too and I don't see him under DB.

No Keon Lattimore or Lance Ball are disappointing. No wonder Tony Temple was trying to get back in school. Neither BC back. Not surprised Amir Pinnix is off, but he's still a nice sleeper.
