2010 Top 3 WR (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
Top 3 in FF rankings at the end of 2010 season for WR, 1 ppr

AJ

Fitz

Edwards

Sleeper- S. Rice

Deep Sleeper- M. Walker

Wayne = Peyton's go to, already top 5, both under contract for years to come, both will still be in prime

Edwards = I'm going here based on Edwards talent and the investment in a good O line. Will give him plenty of time to get open. Two decent enough QBs to drive results.

Welker = PPR 3 years from now, Welker young, will be Brady's go to for years to come. Will avg 100 catches + next 3 yrs.

If Marshall overcomes character issues that have been mentioned the guy is going to be a BEAST. Also like Fitz and Calvin Johnson to break out assuming they find him a QB with a pulse. Gonzalez will be a great sleeper as long as he's w Peyton.

Good post, but the first time I read this, I read it as "Fitz and Calvin Johnson to break out", implying Fitz will break out. :goodposting: Going with:Braylon EdwardsLee EvansAndre JohnsonSantonio HolmesCalvin JohnsonSleeper: Terrell Owens. Not your usual sleeper, but many seem to assume he'll be out of football or on his last legs, barely hanging on.DEEEP Sleeper: Paul Williams

Cou;d have been more clear I guess, If Lee Evans ever gets a QB look out. I just don't know if there is anyone with the upside Marshall has. The guy is so physically imposing and he has the speed to break the big play too. If Cutler matures and makes more plays in the red zone Marshall will put up monster games.

Randy Moss

T.O.

Chad Johnson

Come on guys 2010 isn't that far away ;)

Boldin, Calvin, and Gonzo come to mine though.

This is wishful thinking:

Ocho Cinco

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Andre

This is my head:

Braylon

EEEEEEEE

Andre

Long Shot = Greg Jennings (is he long enough?)

Longer shot = Arnaz Battle (A Martz creation)

Fitz

AJ

Marshall

Wayne

Braylon

Sleeper - Santonio Holmes, Randy Moss

Yes, I named 5 instead of 3. I think the 5 I listed are as close to guarantees as you can get. I listed Moss as a sleeper because he'll only be 33 in 2010

Reggie Wayne

Chad Johnson

M Colston

**Anthony Gonzalez**
:lmao: ...but only because I have 3 of those 4 guys on my dynasty squad.

Seriously, I can't believe the lack of love Colston has gotten in this thread. The guy has actually proven himself to be an elite producer in this league with two great seasons in a row, and as of now, has one of the most stable situations of any WR being listed. Meanwhile guys who've yet to prove that they are more than 1 year wonders (Marshall, Edwards) or guys that haven't even broken out yet (Calvin Johnson, Holmes) are getting mentioned like crazy.

Demetrius Williams

James Jones

Reggie Brown

Come on. Seriously? Wideouts are almost impossible to predict. Let alone in 3 years. What is the point of this exercise.

A few points:You must not play in a dynasty leagueWhats the point of this exercise- I think you answered your own question, "Wideouts are almost impossible to predict". That's part of the strategy and fun of a dynasty, looking to the future rather than reacting to the present. Besides we have got some time to kill before free agency and the draft.

No, they're not. Top 5 in PPR in 2007:

Randy Moss

Braylon Edwards

TO

Reggie Wayne

Chad Johnson

While Braylon was a rookie 3 years ago, he was highly touted. Moss, TO, and even Wayne and 85 were elite 3 years ago. Sure Moss had a couple down years, and this isn't perfect science, but it's no more difficult to have predicted most of the top 5 3 years ago than to project this year for FF overall. Do you not play FF?
