Despite his down year, I still think LJ has a couple of great years left and will help people win championships.

I like Gore next year under Martz. I think McGahee should be on this list above MJD, McFadden, Bush and MBIII.

I also don't think LJ is a top 10 next year and I think maroney will get some lovin' from Bili Beli in 08.

Might wnat to include Grant in this mix. I have seen some people still doubt that Grant is the #1, and if he isn't...well...then the GB organization deserves whatever pain falls their way. They made an idiot move in passing on Moss, and if Grant isn't at least given the serious opportunity to win the #1 slot (as if 200 yards in the playoffs and #2 leading rusher in the NFL from weeks 8 on isn't enough), then I don't know what is.

dude is a fast cutback runner, the kind that breaks long runs all the time. that's a recipe for fantasy success

A lot of nice backs on there, but MJD seems to have the highest ceiling to me.
I like MJD, but I'm still waiting to see why people think his ceiling is as high as people make it out to be. What do you see as his ceiling? Do you honestly see him as a 1600-yard kinda guy?
Reggie Reggie Reggie Reggie
Sheldon Sheldon Sheldon Sheldonseriously. Bush isn't a RB1 option for an NFL team. He REQUIRES RBBC. Perhaps in a PPR I'm with you, but he had a total of 5 games > 100 YFS last season as a feature back.
from the looks of things, Portis will be, once again, undervalued. Not as ridiculous as last year, but he'll still be lower than he should be.
HUSH! He's perfectly valued....

:goodposting: For me, it's Portis and Gore. But, from the looks of things, Portis will be, once again, undervalued. Not as ridiculous as last year, but he'll still be lower than he should be.
I don't mind as I am always able to grab him later. Keep devaluing everyone! Keep talking up Betts! Portis will be even more valuable in PPR leagues where he caught 47 this year, and I look for 60+ next in Zorn's West Coast. Less blocking, more catching.

After Deuce went down he had 4 out of 5 weeks with over 100 all purpose yards before his season ending injury occured. Also, including the week Deuce got hurt hurt, Reggie had a nice run of 6 weeks in a row and 8 out of 9 weeks where he had over 10 points a game for fantasy purposes (which is all I care about and not talking ppr) and that one game he didn't he had 9 while only playing in half the game against STL. You can definetly see a difference in his #'s after that game where he got hurt.He is a fantasy football players' dream come true

Are you watching him play? He does everything well - running inside, outside, catching the ball, breaking tackles, eluding tackles, and BLOCKING. There are really only a handful of guys who've had that entire package recently and they go by names like LT, Tiki, and Brian. Further, his numbers in two seasons are very impressive: 24 TDs, 5.1 ypc, and 86 catches with a 9.8 ypr (far higher than Reggie). Obviously his drawback is the presence of Fred Taylor, but the kid has shown far more before the age of 23 than any other young back from the last 3 or 4 drafts not named Adrian Peterson. When he gets his shot at full-time duty, I really expect something like:1400 yards, 15 TDs, 80 catches, 700 yards, 5 TDs

ETA: certainly he's a slightly more valuable in PPR, which is what I'm basing my analysis on
