Derek Anderson is EASILY the most underrated player in all of dynasty football. 3500 yards, 29 TD's, 19 Int's, only started 15 games, not to mention the Browns went 10-5 with him behind center. Guy is only 24, and has a very good, young, supporting cast. I know he fell off a bit during the end of the season, but he was playing in some bad weather.

Seriously... again, Schaub? Garard? Both have played only ONE very average season! Garard is 3 years older than Phil, and is in a "run-First" offense. Granted PR plays in a run-first as well, but it clearly opens it up much more to a passing game than does JAC! IMO this isn't even close - Phill by a mile! My rankings...

Rivers

Schaub

Leinart

Garrard

Where's he playing next season? When does Quinn get a shot?I know things worked out for Brees, but that's not always the case.

Shaub I can see, but I don't understand all of the love for DA. His numbers were OK...but there are a ton of vey good arguments against him. DA comes with a ton of risk....but NOT a ton of potential reward. If he keeps his job, and his numbers are a good indication of his real talent (arguable, but possible), then he's still AT BEST hanging around the 10-12 spot. Too soon for this level of risk without more upside.

I like Garrard as an NFL QB, and he is very safe here, but his ceiling is too low compared to the others.

I went with Rivers, but I can see Shaub pretty easily.

Rivers is a horrible QB. This poll should be up in the air except for Rivers who should be last on the list without question.

If DA keeps his numbers, he'll be top 6, since that's what he was this year. Depending on the exact scoring method, he was very close to Drew Brees and Ben this past season. He has excellent targets, a good offensive line, and a strong running game to back him. I see no reason why he won't be a solid fantasy QB this season. I do think he is overrated as a QB, but Cleveland will throw the ball a lot, and Winslow and Braylon are great targets.

On a side note, it is ######ed that someone like Vince Young is rated above QBs with actual NFL potential.

And unless they build a dome this offseason, we can all expect more of this. Bad weather is just part of the equation here. I like DA and think he has alot of potential. But you have to factor in his contract situation too. Kind of hard to put him ahead of Rivers, Schaub, and Garrard, when we really don't know if he'll even be in Cleveland next year. If this poll was being done in 3-4 weeks, we might have a different view.

I was just reading this morning about how the Browns owner really wants Quinn to start playing soon. They didnt spend all that money on him to have him sit on the bench.

Get Schaub while you can, after this year everyone will know how good he and the Houston offense is.

When does a QB who threw for 29 TD's in his first year as a starter end up being replaced the following year by an uproven rookie, and not succeed on his new team?Speaking of DA's 29 TD passes in one year, guess how many total seasons with 29 or more TD passes each of these "top 10" QB's have?

Brady - 1 in 7 seasons

Palmer - 1 in 4 seasons

Brees - 0 in 6 seasons

Big Ben - 1 in 4 seasons

Hasselbeck - 0 in 9 seasons

Eli - 0 in 4 seasons

Mcnabb - 1 in 9 seasons

Bulger - 0 in 6 seasons

Thats 8 top 10 QB's, a total of 49 seasons, that have combined for a grand total of 4 seasons with 29 or more TD's, something Anderson did in his first full year.
