Impressive? Wasn't his 40 time 7th amongst TE's? I would say decent at his size, but not impressive.

I think he was tied for 5th.Brad Cottum at 6'7" 270 lbs ran a 4.68/40 with a respectable 33" vert...
...but the guy never topped 200 yards receiving in any season in college and ended his career with a 21-341-1 stat line, despite playing in 42 games.
I also think John Carlson may have lost his (small) chance of replaced Fred Davis at the top TE in the draft. His 4.90 clocking was not pretty.

I watched him perform his vertical on NFL.com Live. The guy is built like a WR (...only with a bigger upper body). The guy was ubber-productive his final two seasons at Purdue (120+ receptions for 1600+ yards and 11 TD's).

Keller also killed the broad jump at 10'11" and 3-cone with a WR/CB-like 6.88.

I think that Mayock said that Cottum was the best blocking TE and was surprised by his athleticism. Also said that Keller can't block at all.

Mid 30s. His vert was 34, his bench was 18.
