D. Williams? I've been voting for Graham for about 5 picks now but D. Williams? Anybody watch Tampa Bay this year? D. Williams can put all his crummy seasons together and wouldn't look as good as E. Graham did this year.

D. Williams isn't in my top 25, dynasty, redraft,,,,,,just in my nightmares.

Last year Graham averaged 4 yards per carry, Williams averaged 5. Graham is a 28 year old journeyman RB. Williams is a young first round pick. As of right now, both are their teams starting RB's, Williams is pretty much the only RB on the Panthers right now.

I'll take Jacobs as well. All these guys have question marks around their long-term value, so I'll take a guy I KNOW will get at least 15 carries and all of the goal line for the rest of his career.

Thats why I did NOT take him, I think his career will be a very short one.

I like Graham but went with Lewis. I'm just not sure Gruden won't try to bring in someone. I think Lewis has two very good years left. It's pretty close between the two for me.No way Williams gets my vote for a while. He couldn't even beat out Foster for the job and is only starting because they cut foster to save some cap space.

It looks like many have been bullied away from picking KJ any more, I'm still taking him. Being in Detroit I have watched just about all his games, his downfalls have been injuries, Mariucci, Martz, and the offensive line. If this was 10 years ago I would be more concerned with his injuries, look how he came back from the lisfranc, but with modern medicine and technology, players are bouncing back quick and just as strong. With Martz gone all signs are pointing to the Lions going to more of a power running game, and KJ is still a great threat in the passing game = a true 3 down back.

Before his injury this year he was being talked about as a top 12 RB in dynasty going forward, he is still only 26 years old.

I don't understand the hate for Lendale. He is a 1,000 yard rusher in only his second year and doesn't have much competition for the job.

Probably the most pedestrian 1,000 yard rusher that DIDN'T have competition. 304/1108 for a 3.6 YPC. That screams replacement long-term, and at least competition.

 Chris Brown had a 4.6 ypc. Henry had 3.8.White isn't a good receiver, while Henry has that potential. so, not the best runner on the team, not the best receiving RB, he lacks breakaway speed... not the recipe for future greatness.

Maybe Caddy should be added soon?
I personally wouldn't just yet, but if others agree with you, this is a consensus, not just my thread.
I wouldn't take him yet either, but I think it is almost time that he starts to enter the discussion. If he comes back healthy and regains his form from 06, he would easily warrant a pick in the mid 20's range. Definitely a question mark with him, but he does have some upside too.

Of course this all changes if he doesn't play this year. I just read the other Caddy thread, didn't read that before I posted here.

that's alright. At this point though, I might be more inclined to include Benson. :)

Caddy seems like such a wild card to me. Personally I'd add him before Norwood. If I felt he were healthy enough to play this year(which shouldn't be ruled out) then I'd say he should be very close to Graham. With the injury uncertainty I'd add F.Jones, Bradshaw and maybe Edge before him.

Come on trav, don't give me that "would have, could have." He didn't. He wasn't healthy. He hasn't been good since the first half of his rookie year. When he got injured, he was supposed to be ready by training camp, and now he miss the entire 08 season. Domanick Davis 2.0 is a strong possibility with this guy. Loads of talent, but derailed by injuries. I will take Norwood over Caddy any day of the week.

That's really not true about Caddy's rookie year. He finished just about as well as he started, his week 16 won me my league that year when Edge sat out. Plus he had like 4 very good games after week 8 that year.I agree(and am worried) about the possibility of him being another Davis. Though Davis had a long history of knee trouble dating back to college while this is Caddy's 1st major injury. There are at least 10 more guys(Caddy included) I'd take over Norwood. Norwood is kinda like Hester at WR, sure he'll make a big play eventually but he'll never be even remotely consistent or useful to a fantasy team.

I dont think this list is very accurate. In a startup dynasty draft I think all 3 rookies will be gone by the time the 15th RB is selected. I've seen people trading Lynch and MJD for the 1.3 rookie pick already.

WOW! I would never have a top-3 pick in that league.

Lynch AND MJD for the 1.03?!? That would be one of the worst trades I have ever seen. I agree the rooks are too low, but Lynch AND MJD for a guy who has proven nothing and does not even have his team decided yet?

Umm...who said that this list was meant to reflect initial dynasty? It was my assumption that it's a redraft list, in which case the rookies are probably TOO HIGH...and certainly impossible to accurately rank without knowing where they land.

sadly, I'm guessing that many voters are voting this same way. every poll has had DYNASTY in front of it. I dont think they were referencing the tv show.
