14-team total points (with head to head mixed in) keeper league (9 major leaguers).

Team in contention trades Ortiz, Milledge and Todd Jones.

Team out of contention/rebuilding trades Soriano to contending team.

Would you be skeptical of this or not?

Looks fair

Ortiz is a big question mark, the team getting him is betting he comes back.

We still have a ton of baseball to play.

Yeah, I'm usually all for letting trades thru...and don't think I'd really beef about this one to my league...but I did find it interesting.

The team that just lost Ortiz, maybe for the year, was able to move him to a team with no chance for a good player that can play OF or DH (Ortiz can only DH).

I dished Ortiz (and Maybin) to this team this past offseason for Martin, Loney, and Hamels....been happy with that this year.

Bob, as you said, this is a keeper league.

Ortiz is a better keeper going foward. IMO.

If you're rebuilding, getting Todd Jones is very curious. Even Ortiz since I really think he's going to break down as he gets older because of his big, lumbering size. He's not young anymore, people.

I suppose the trade looks okay. I'm just a rookie baseball fantasy guy though.

In my dynasty roto league,(12 teams, 40 roster spots) I just traded Soriano away and have been wondering if it was a bad move...

Traded Soriano and Theriot for BJ Upton and JJ Putz....

Which would you prefer?

Upton and Putz or the other trade of Ortiz, Miledge, and Jones...
