I'm just trying to get a pulse on what the general consensus is for each of the NFL teams.

Some things to consider when deciding:

-Schedule

-Draft

-Offseason trades, losses and acquisitions

-Retirements

-Coaching changes

-What the rest of the division is doing

Feel free to make a case in this thread or post your record predictions and cordially discuss them.

Link to each division's poll:

AFC West

AFC East

AFC North

NFC West

NFC East

NFC North

NFC South

Toughest division in football, no team declined in the offseason and all of them were petty good to start with.

This division is very interesting to me. As a fan, I really like all of the teams and they are all good.

I just don't know if Indy can continue to dominate as much with the continued development of the other three teams. I think this may finally be the year they don't win the division.

I don't think you'll see the Colts lose this division (regardless of strength) until Peyton isn't taking snaps from center; whether he retires or is injured. Jax is over-rated; their D I think will take a step back this year (then come forward again in 09). Titans could fall apart at anytime, I swear Fisher is the guru/mencsh/master at turning chicken@$% into chickensoup. And Houston is really the team that I think is on a very progressive path to being good over a long stretch. They really just need a headliner RB, and continue to develop/draft good defensive players.Colts 13 winsTexans 9-11 winsJags 7-9 winsTitans 6-10 wins (who the hell knows!!)

The AFC South went 30-10 in non-divisional games, which is too incredible to repeat, even though it's still the best division in the NFL. I'm expecting everybody except Houston to drop a bit.

Indianapolis: 12-4

Houston: 10-6

Jacksonville: 10-6

Tennessee: 7-9

Curious as to why people think Jax isn't going to improve.
11-5 to what? Maybe 12-4, but I can't see them as a 13 win team.As a Titans fan, I'm disappointed in our seeming outlook. Playoffs just a year ago at 10-6. Easiest SOS of all AFC South teams too. I'd like to think we can hang around 10 or 11 wins.

Feel like the AFC South had an easy schedule last year and a much harder one this year. Last year the division feasted on an imploding AFC West and the always mediocre NFC South. I expect Indy to finally be challenged by JAX this year after upgrading the pass rush in the draft. Still, those guys are young and might not be immediate contributors. I expect Tennesse to do about the same while Houston is still another 2 years away. (This from a Houston homer.)

Indianapolis: 12-4

Jacksonville: 10-6

Tennessee: 9-7

Houston: 7-9 (Hope I'm wrong here.)

It will seem a step back for the entire division, but I think this will be respectable considering the preseason SOS these teams face (all in the top 10 IIRC.)
