I'm just trying to get a pulse on what the general consensus is for each of the NFL teams.

Some things to consider when deciding:

-Schedule

-Draft

-Offseason trades, losses and acquisitions

-Retirements

-Coaching changes

-What the rest of the division is doing

Feel free to make a case in this thread or post your record predictions and cordially discuss them.

Tampa Bay - hold steady/improve (assuming Garcia returns)

Carolina - improve (reasons for optimism: significantly upgraded running game and WR2, Delhomme's returning, liabilities in front 7 unloaded, quality defensive back 7 - concerns: Delhomme's health, John Fox, DLine)

New Orleans - improve (reasons for optimism: great run D upgraded w Vilma, offensive skill players retained - concerns: pass defense, Payton's play calling)

Atlanta - hold steady (it's fugly)

tampa - hold steady as they return largely intact; they overachieved last year.

carolina - decline; main reason is delhomme's health. i don't think he can finish the season again. their defense is over-rated.

new orleans - improve; they only needed to make modest improvements to become a better team. they have addressed that in the off-season.

atlanta - decline; things can't get worse, right? they have a new coach/system, players on offense and a meh defense.

I think Tampa goes somewhere around 8-8, maybe 7-9

I think Carolina improves slightly, finishing with about 9 wins.

I think the Saints take the division finishing with 10 or 11 wins

I think Atlanta wins about 5 or 6
