Texans versus Cowboys Preseason Game 3 (1 Viewer)

The Texans in the past have taken this game a little more seriously than the Cowboys and have whooped them, especially when they've been at home. I'm wondering if the Cowboys will remember that beating and come out and play with a little more authority, even though it is a preseason game. The Cowboys are at home and they're favored by 5 points to win.

I am looking for the defense to play a lot better than they did versus Denver.......a lot better.

Andre Davis BIG return to open up the game, all the way down to the Dallas 37. However. Davis is down and staying down.

Edit to add Davis jogged off the field, looked as if he got the wind knocked out of him, Davis looked fast on that return.

Andre Johnson is playing.

Owen Daniels 2 passes in a row to start the offense, total of 5 yards but 2 receptions.

Chris Taylor in for short yardage run and gets the first down, Schaub misses an open Andre Johnson.

Nice runback by whoever for DAL on KO.

I'll sure be glad as hell when that disgusting Predator hairdo goes out of style though. :(

 
Wow, Isiah Stanback looked electric on that run back. I wished he would have tucked the ball into his opposite hand, to his left side as he got near that sideline but a really nice return, out near midfield....something the Cowboys didn't do well last year. Short fields will be welcome......

 
Yep pounding through people. I'm a little concerned about that causing him to get dinged mis-season though.

PS nice TD by Romo. I was telling him to toss it to the wide-open guy in the flat (Barber?) - um never mind.

Hope Houston player is Okay. Man it didnt look good at all. This scares me cause i play semi pro and some 350lb dude almost snapped my back in half on a kick off. This is why I dont play on kick offs anymore.

The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading only. There is no parking in the white zone.The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading only. There is no parking in the red zone....
 
Dallas on first down, play action to Barber......plenty of time, 10 yards to Patrick Crayton for another first.

Dallas has 6 fo 8 plays so far 10 yards or more........Barber off the right side for 13 yards, make that 7 of 9 plays are 10 yards or more.

 
TO for 12 yards on first down, another first down play, TO wide open and Romo overthrew him by inches in the endzone, maybe he lays out in the regular season.

 
Finally some pressure, incompletion in an attempt to get it to Owens on 3rd down.

Nick Folk with a 48 yard field goal attempt, right down the middle for 3.

10-3 Cowboys

 
Matt Schaub with 2 more incompletions, last one should have been picked.

On a reverse, D. Ware, NO. 94 with a 6 yard tackle for a loss, looking solid.

Cowboys fumble the punt, but get a good bounce and get the ball with good field position.
