NFC East - Either Cowboys or Redskins, then Giants, then Eagles.....

Cowboys over New England isn't much of a reach, it's pretty much the prediction across the board. However, it would be an awful game to watch. Those are the two evil empires (most hated teams in the NFL).

Minni has a strong shot as long as Jackson can throw even a little bit better than he did last year.

It would be nice to see New England get bounced early.....

 What don't you like about the Jaguars?
An absolute ton.Great run game. Other then that, average at best.Including QB, and OLine with admitted issues, no receieving corp whatsoever, the DLine, and LBers [and I have little faith in Peterson (their best player on D) lasting the entire year and the other two LBs are below average]. They do have a nice coverage secondary.

Except for the bit about the linebackers, which I think are above average, I agree with most of this. But that doesn't mean they're worse than the Texans or Titans, does it?

I think that division is tougher and closer then many expect. I also think the Colts will be weaker. But as far as Jaguars, I do think they are overrated. And I had them and the Titans pretty much tied.Youre a fan of Ingram, Smith and Durant being above average? The loss of the plug (Stroud) better not show on the linebackers. Which I think it will.

Yes I am. There aren't a lot of elite corps of linebackers in the NFL today. There are groups with elite players, but as a group, I think these three are above average.

Marcus Stroud missed nearly half the season last year and was basically replaced by Rob Meier. In the times he did play, he was often playing through injuries and was pretty ineffective.

I'll go with this. Will be fun to review at season's end.

Please let me know which 5 games NE will lose from the following:Kansas City

at NY Jets

Miami

at San Francisco

at San Diego

Denver

St. Louis

at Indianapolis

Buffalo

NY Jets

at Miami

Pittsburgh

at Seattle

at Oakland

Arizona

at Buffalo
All the games bolded above are loseable for the Patriots, IMHO. Not looking for a Jets sweep ... just a split. Not bolded, but going out to San Francisco and Oakland could yield a "WTF?" loss, too.

I simply think that no team can stay dominant forever.....no way they lose LESS than 3 games. I do not like their running game at all and they are bit old at key positions on defense. Brady and Moss will not have those seasons again.

IMO, this is one of the most overblown aspects of the Pats that everyone brings up but I don't see in reality. The only spots where the Pats are truly old are safety where Harrison and Lynch will share time and ILB with Bruschi. I don't see them being excessively old any place else.First teamWarren - 27Wilfork - 26Seymour - 28Vrabel - 33Mayo - 22Bruschi - 35Thomas - 30 Bryant - 31Hobbs - 25Harrison - 35JSanders - 24Second teamWright - 26Fifta - 26Green - 29Woods - 26Hobson - 28Alexander - 26Crable - 23LSanders - 30Wheatley - 23MerriweatherLynch - 36Looking at the Pats schedule, if the core players stay healthy, I see one road loss to SD or IND and maybe another one that they "should" win. Depending on where they are for home field, they may not care what happens the last game, so I see them with 13-14 wins.I'm not sure why you don't like their running game at all, they ranked in the top half of the league in rushing yards and Top 5 in rushing TD. Certainly running the ball is not their bread and butter, but they were adequate last year and have Morris back and Jordan this time around.Overall, I don't think the Pats slipped very far back to the pack (although they did some).

So, long story short: San Diego wins an uncharacteristically dreary AFC...

and falls to the winner of the real Super Bowl, when the Vikes visit Dallas.

Whoever's healthy? I'll have tp go with America's Team :yucky: in a fairly convincing

win over SD in the SB.

People really need to stop picking the Cardinals every single year to beat the Seahawks, learn your lesson.
I just don't see how Seattle is going to score many points this year. :thumbup:Mediocre OL...Mediocre RBs...Injured WRs...plus a Head Coach with one foot out the door.
