Good luck all. This will be pinned once the game starts

Be cool, there will be a venting and bragging thread as well as an injury thread coming soon.

Is anyone getting this game in HD? It seems to be standard broadcast only here in Cincy. Sunday ticket channel blakced out since local for me.

Bengals OLine not looking good on the first drive. Palmer was hurried on both pass plays and Perry stuffed at the line on the other.

Can't wait to head out and watch the 2nd half of this one. Seems like it's destined for a long run on ESPN Classic.

If it weren't for a lot of drops by Baltimore receivers they would be up 28-0 right now. Bengals are playing with no fire. This looks like an 0-16 team.

not quite. the defense is actually looking quite good and the corners have been breaking up passes. the offense has looked bad until that last drive before the half where they showed a little something.

Dude. I am a Bengals fan. Ray Rice and Heap BOTH dropped TD passes. The D looks "good" because the Ravens offense is inept.

Is Chad Ocho Cinco playing?
He's in there but the Ratbirds are uncharacteristically shutting him and Housh pretty much down (with help from the aforementioned pass rush). Those guys have been very tough on Baltimore the last few years.

Oh, my. That's gonna make Cincinnati sick to watch on film, letting Flacco run through them for a 38-yard TD on a freakin' busted play.

Carson Palmer looking for help in getting the balls to receivers...

So far I've compiled this list of suggestions:

Slingshot

Trebuchet

Catapult

Anything I'm missing?

Looked like it was supposed to be an end around to Mason but he didn't get there in time for some reason so Flacco just took off in the same direction himself. He runs like my grandma but he got 3 good blocks downfield and picked his way through.

Ravens crowd beside themselves. "Let's go, Flac-co"

And just like that, Rice fumbles in the backfield and Joseph scoops it and returns it easily for the score. That was a bad mistake for the Ratbirds as they were driving and pushing the Bengals all over the place with the running game.

24 yard pass to Housh...which one did he use? My guess would be the slingshot, since it makes him more mobile. The other two would make him run slower.

Hard to gauge the Ravens from this game. While the Bengals have never been able to match Baltimore in physicality, they have been able to score. But the Ravens completely stifled Palmer, Ocho Cinco and Housh today. Wasn't expecting that.

Flacco was an improvement over Boller in that he didn't make any devastating mistakes and, in fact, picked up a couple of timely first downs with his arm. He won't run for a 38 yard score every week but he stays cool and is more accurate than Boller, and probably Troy Smith as well.

The real key today was how Baltimore ran the ball, 200+ yards rushing, without Willis, split pretty evenly between Rice and McClain. Cameron ran a whole bunch of unbalanced line today, which was new, and Cincy had no answer for the thunder coming at them with McClain running behind Lo Neal and the big kids on the left side. I don't think the Ratbirds can do that against everybody but teams who are a little light defensively up front are gonna struggle to stop that kind of beef.
