D Jackson seems to be the only active receiver (other than Westbrook). He looks like gold. Yes, sometimes the preseason does give clues.

 
Anyone able to watch this game anywhere online? I've searched with no luck :(

 
Why would you want to watch this? It sounds brutal. Is the STL passing game sucking as bad as the stats appear to show? Where the fark is Holt?

I'm an eagles fan. I like to watch Eagles games.
 
for those who cant watch,, a few observations from an eagles homer..

1) McNabb is looking for Desean often on deep balls

2) The eagles are hinting at reverses with Desean, having faked 2 in a row

3) LJ is a great TE option this year.. the offense has so many ways to attack that LJ will be open a lot

4) McNabb looks sharp.. dodged a few blizters and making great decisions.. lack of a #1 WR so far isnt hurting.. he has so many options is a master of this offense and is back

5) McNabb will not scramble as much because he doesnt need to (o-line solid, so many options on offense)

6) Booker cant run the ball very well

 
News flash... Rams still SUCK. :thumbup:

Eagles and Mcnabb are killing that secondary. Rams bad play calling thus far.

Torry Holt yet to get pass rec. Steven Jackson has looked good for times he's getting ball but field position is horrible.

Eagles Special teams is doing great job.

 
Thanks greenlove and hook -- these are the kinds of occasional updates and insights, no matter how cursory, that help us who can't see the games. Appreciate it!

 
STL will get a top 3 pick next year easy I predict. OL still horrible and Jackson just a good pop away from yet another injury.

At least Bulger isn't my QB.

 
Rams with a couple plays to get to mid field. Another pre snap pen on off line. That's 4 off lineman called with pre snap penalties so far. Linehan is brutal and should have been fired in the offseason.

It was a hard hit, but it didn't phase Jackson at all. He got right up and celebrated the first down after the reception. Basically, the hit wasn't as bad as it looked.
 
McNabb to Baskett on 3rd down...90 yds for TD. 21-0 Philly

Wow 3rd and long and Hank Baskett beats the St. Louis DB's deep.... im gladly not a rams fan.

 
For those wondering about Holt, he just got a pass thrown to him and he dropped it. It wasn't really his fault since it was a bad pass. Bulger rocketted it into his chest, but he was only about 4 yards away so it's tough to catch a pass with no touch from so close.

 
To say the Rams need to make some half time adjustments is an understatement. You hate to say a game is over at the half but......

 
hAVEN'T BEEN WATCHING THIS, BUT i SEE tHAT dESEAN jACKSON HAS 70 yards and this is pretty telling.

Last drive listed on sportsline.

1-10-STL 45 (:07) (Shotgun) D.McNabb pass short right to D.Jackson ran ob at SL 41 for 4 yards.

2-10-PHI 36 (:13) (Shotgun) D.McNabb pass deep right to D.Jackson to SL 45 for 19 yards (O.Atogwe).

1-10-PHI 36 (:16) (Shotgun) D.McNabb pass incomplete short left to D.Jackson.

 
Are Eagles that good or the Rams that bad?

Maybe bit of both. Rams are getting sliced up. Thats an understatement.

Anything they want in Air they get.. geez. Let's go SJAX :confused: :popcorn:

 
Observations:

SJax looks good regardless of stats

McMichael is getting plenty of targets

Holt has only one target most likely due to poor O-Line play

McNabb looks great

Desean getting lots of targets and looks very good at WR

Eagles special teams look great

Did Westbrook fumble and lose the ball? NFL book is saying that right now.

I thought he lost the ball twice but got it back.
