Good luck all. This will be pinned once the game starts

Be cool. There is a venting and bragging thread as well as an injury thread.

Nothing happening here so far.

DeAngelo Williams starting for Carolina

Tomlinson and Gates with soem early action or San Diego

Panthers offense looking really good. Delhomme sharp, O-line opening holes and DeAngelo Williams exploding through the hole so far. When Smith gets back...

Rivers appeared to be channeling Favre on that pass to Gates. Gates doesn't seem to have the strength or mobility that he used to have.

Just from eyeballing it, I thought he might have been beyond the line of scrimmage.

Chargers caught a break. They've been completely outplayed this entire game up until that TD.

Huge call by the officials saying Rivers wasn't over the line of scrimmage when completing 3rd down pass. Would have been a punting situation, 44-yard TD to Chambers on the very next play.

It sure looked to me like he was over the line of scrimmage. I don't know what the refs were looking at on the replay.

They explained that the entire body has to be over the LOS (which I didn't know). They made the right call if that is the case.

I don't know if it's Tomlinson's vision or his lateral movement, but he sure is spending a lot of time running straight into pileups.

Maybe David Binn needs to play a little defense today. That's the best tackle from a Charger all game.

Jammer did everything right on that jump ball except for be born with a pair of hands that can catch.

lol at this split in carries. I own Williams and Stewart, looks like there's gotta be an injury for any type of studly production...

Phew! That was close. That one Charger may have tackled Rosario if he hadn't ducked like that.

Maybe you can trade one of them for Tomlinson seeing they are both outproducing him at this point.

The way that team has opened holes in the first half, they could both be studs this year. 112 yards between them and that doesn't flatter them. The Carolina running game has been tremendous in the first half, and they have 282 yards of total offense in one half on the road against one of the best teams in the league.

If anyone has a link to watch this game over the innerweb it would be greatly appreciated. Free link of course. I'm sitting in an airport. :)

I think it's more likely that teams will consistently run well up the middle against the Chargers. Carolina's doing well, but we'll probably see a lot of teams doing well against the SD defense this year.
