**OFFICIAL** Denver @ Oakland MNF Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Sorry bro, but I gotta take the under on the Raider rushing tonight. Put me down for 225!

I like Oakland to surprise everyone with a win tonight. The run defense does just enough and the secondary holds firm. Fargas and McFadden each get a rushing td and Zach Miller catches a TD in the red zone.

Oakland 27 - Denver 17

I don't think a win would be a surprise in the least, but let's face it... we caught a HUGE break with Marshall being suspended for this game. I would not be as confident if he was in there. I just don't think Royal and whatever else they trot out there can match up with our stud corners, and as bad as Oakland's run defense has been in recent years, I don't think a one-trick pony offense (no pun intended) will be able to get the job done.

Sole possession of 1st place in the AFC West by the Silver & Black coming up in a few hours.

And get used to it... :goodposting:

Yes there was, and it was a pretty good pun indeed. (and I'm a Bronco fan)

Cutler>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Russell
Talk about conflicted... I actually have Cutler (and Prater and Zach Miller) going tonight, and I need points badly. But I'll take a win from my real football team over my fantasy football team every time.

I like Oakland to pull of the upset tonight. Denver is missing their best offensive weapon, their starting center (we all saw how well Indy did without Jeff Saturday last night) and does not stop the run well (30th in the league last year.) Oakland was 6th in the league in rushing last season and added the explosive Darren McFadden. I think McFadden continues the trend of rookie RBs doing well this week with a nice game against the Broncos tonight, and they pull out a close one.

As I accidentally posted in the other thread:

Really expecting to see a surprisingly good Oakland offense tonight. Russel and McFadden are, I think, gonna be a dynamite and undervalued tandem.

I'm hoping McFadden can keep the rookie RB success from yesterday going.

Raiders homers what is expected out of Fargus will he get 15 carries?
Strictly a guess:Fargas 17McFadden 14Bush 6Russell 3
I realize you do not really know for sure and I thank you for giving me your opinion. I know for a fact you follow this team a lot closer then I do so I appreciate that educated guess .. I am going to to start Fargus over Grant man I hate doing that but everything is pointing to Grant struggling tonight.I was just not sure if Fargus is expected to get that many carries.

been going back and forth with grant or fargas--going grant. he may get some goalline love and bush or dms will get it in oak--plus home game for gb and in aok they will want to show off the new toy

Obviously, 40 carries is a ton, and if they get behind by two scores that plan could change.Look at Atlanta's RB carries from yesterday. We'd love to follow that blueprint, in a perfect world.

Denver 27-10

Denver combines for 200 yards on the ground. Cutler has a solid game 190/1/1

Russell is still coming along and struggles. J. Walker isnt the answer to help him out.

Mcfadden breaks a 50+ TD run for OAK only TD.

Jamarcus looked so bad ### wearing a knit hat for the cointoss in OAK in early september :goodposting: :lmao: :lmao:

...pretty sweet that Mike and Mike..and Mike are announcing tonight, will def help if the game gets ugly

It was busted coverage, but Royal could really help Marshall. If he's good enough to keep people from doubling/tripling Marshall, we might be talking about one of the best seasons ever by a WR (Marshall), IMO.

Eddie Royal is for real folks.
:goodposting: Will he get the same looks with BMarshall back next week?I think Darrell Jackson can kiss the #2 goodbye.
DJax has already been #3 on the depth chart for awhile nowWell see how the rest of the game pans out, but Asomugha should be on him mostly, and hes a top cover corner. While his targets likely go down with Marshall, hell be going against much easier corners almost always..He looks good to go
