I'd definitely start him at RB2 if I had him. Jacksonville's D is good against the run but they've allowed opposing running backs to post respectable fantasy numbers. Slaton's won Kubiak's trust completely and is sure to see ample touches.<homer alert>While Slaton showed up in the box score more than any other Texans player, I don't agree that he was the only good thing on offense for the Texans. I wasn't able to watch the game live because of a family medical situation, but I dvr'd it and finally got around to watching it last night. Despite all the criticism I've read about their performance, and Matt Schaub in particular, the Texans were in the game the entire time. The offensive line held its own against the Titans d-line and gave Schaub ample time to throw on numerous occasions. The offense had good run-pass balance and kept the Titans guessing on defense until the last five minutes of the fourth quarter. AJ uncharacteristically dropped TD passes, and Kubiak made some really terrible coaching decisions with his playcalling in the red zone and his use of the red challenge flag. </homer alert>He was the only good thing on the offensive side against a very tough Titans Def. His schedule gets stupidly easy from week 5 to 8, but I was wondering if you guys will risk playing him week 4.After Jags, he plays Indy, Miami, Detroit, and Cinci.
He's in for me due to bye weeks. But he's looking like a decent RB2 option at this point.
same exact thing for me. addai is out for me this week, and slaton is in. his performance has made it a pretty low stress decision to start him, but i don't have a lot of better options at the same time. on my roster, willie parker is hurt and i would rather start slaton over fred taylor. He's in for me due to bye weeks. But he's looking like a decent RB2 option at this point.
