Game Thread W4 - Washington V Dallas (1 Viewer)

Nice punt.

Jason can't hold the ball that long, but I liked that he was obviously looking downfield and going through his projections.

 
Another sack.....Washington will be in trouble this game if they can't protect the QB when Dallas is only rushing 4.

Deep drops on third and long are not a good idea. They need to run draw out of the spread, and some screens. More importantly, they need to get yards on 1st and 2nd down.
 
Crayton and/or Austin will have to make some plays today as Washington's looking to stop Owens and Witten. I'd like to see M. Bennett used in some double TE formations and used in the passing game, I think he could make some big plays with all the attention going the other way.

What's been most remarkable to me has been their ability to do that pretty well (until just now :shrug: ) and still also stop Barber.

Ya, if Washington can't run the ball on Dallas I think Campbell will be in for a long day, we'll see. Dallas has been able to get pressure on all 3 of their opponenets leading up to today, it was only McNabb's great play that allowed him to escape 3 to 5 possible sacks. We may see Campbell hit the deck up to 5 times today.Big hit by Keith Davis, glad Miami couldn't use him.

1 freakin catch. If this is what happens when the force the ball to him, I shudder to think what happens when they go elsewhere. What, he's double-covered ever damn play??Between needing him and Portis for pts, watching this game looks like it'd be comparable to listening to Rosanne Barr sing.
