(As first seen, however briefly, in the Shark Pool!)

Snuggies.

Just the other day I was saying to myself, "Self, how on earth do I both stay warm on the couch, and look like a Franciscan monk all at the same time?"

Thank you, Snuggies! thumbup1.gif

Got my wife the Slanket last year for xmas. She loves it. I use it also. If you are thinking about buying one, check out the QVC website - I got it for about $20 less than the slanket website (it is a real slanket, not a knockoff).

Isn't this called a robe?

QUOTE
Did that once with my son. Once. Five days without a poop and the Dr said "Take his temperature... down there." The thermometer never beeped before he went off - after five seconds and Mr. Brown Bear decided he was done hibernating and wanted to see who was at the door. It was like someone exchanged my kid for a Play-Doh Fun Factory and pushed down on the lever big-time. You've heard of dirt-snakes? This was a dirt boa constrictor. green.gif

The next time it happened I told my wife "Your turn." Just her luck she got the pressurized version. All I heard was a loud farting noise, the Lord's name in vain, and the sound of poopie going splat against the dresser. lol.gif I now know what it looks like when you toss an M-80 into a loaded toilet but without the benefit of porcelain shrapnel. unsure.gif - bakes

Difference is:

Slanket : $39.99 ($32 on QVC last year)
Snuggie : 2 for $19.99

shrug2.gif

The GF absolutely LOVES hers ... uses it every night on the couch.

How long before they start offering team color snuggies.

A green and yellow snuggie with a cheesehead would be perfect for Lambeau...it'd be like watching from the comfort of your living room.

A silver and black one...complete with a skull mask would fit right into the black hole in Oakland.

I love how they make simple, everyday acts looks so difficult in these commercials.

How will I ever keep a blanket on me!?!?!

How could I possibly use the remote with my arms under the blanket!?!?!?!

How is a man to pee in one of those things? I grant you the #### cozy will have a similar problem.

I don't think I've ever seen so many low-cut tops in one commercial.

Oh, and how big of a dork do you have to be as a male endorser of the Tiddy Bear? lol.gif

Something similar (called a Slanket) was HUGELY popular last Christmas. Quite a few guys on this board bought one for their SO. My wife LOVES hers.

slanket?

Got my wife the Slanket last year for xmas. She loves it. I use it also. If you are thinking about buying one, check out the QVC website - I got it for about $20 less than the slanket website (it is a real slanket, not a knockoff).

My wife and daughter both have Slankets and love them.

Snuggie ripped off the Slanket.

Yes, unless you were playing the part of the Tiddy Bear.

Speaking of which, the Tiddy Bear might actually fit Lil' DW and keep him warm, no?

Isn't this called a robe?

Do you wear robes backwards? I didn't think so.

We're in new territory here, friend. It's called "Snuggies".

It was new territory last year, chief. You're way late to the party.

The slanket is at the top of my wife's Christmas list... since it's turned cold in Chicago she acts exactly like the woman in that youtube video with the blanket.

I can't help but think that you are leading back into the Tickle Me Elmo incident of '98. That was a one time thing I've had to live with for a decade now. Let it go allready.
