Steeler fans are probably aware that Aaron Smith has missed practice because of personal reasons. That reason is that his 4 yr-old was just diagnosed with childhood leukemia. I know someone who works at the Christian school where the Smith's children attend. She says that both Elijah and Elliana, his older sister, are the kind of kids who just light up a room when they walk in. Elijah had surgery yesterday to have a shunt inserted where he will receive his chemo shots.

This is worse than I was hoping. Not a praying person but certainly nothing but good thoughts going their way.
