Game Thread W9 - Houston V Minnesota (1 Viewer)

Vikes stop Schaub pretty well on the Texans first drive... Schaub'll wind up having to air it out a lot this game, I still believe.

 
Is Houston capable of playing a good game on the road? For as much love as their offense got over the past month with all of those home games, they have stunk on the road this year.

pfff...I doubt it. Have you seen what he's done recently except for one long run against Detroit? Peterson is a myth.

Meh, give Ed a break. He's absolutely right that this seasons' ADP doesn't look anywhere near to the same player from last season. I still think he's a terrific player so I'd sure like to hear why he's been held in check so capably.

So trying to turn the conversation towards me is going to cover up the fact that Peterson pretty much stinks except for a few dazzle plays? This has nothing to do with me. If you've watched the game, you'd see that Chester Taylor can catch. In addition, Taylor runs the ball much better.

Isn't Peterson 2nd in the league in rushing? Yea, that sucks!
 
:mellow: Best half of football by the Vikings this year. Not a bunch of stupid errors and a good mix of run/pass. Taylor, Berrian and Ferotte have looked good. ADP will bust a huge run in the second half as the Vikings will run often to take time off the clock. It's also time for the defense to score as well. Shaub is hurting bad from the relentless Vikings pass rush. Cant wait for the second half. :excited:

Whoa. Are you suggesting that Peterson is a lousy football player or that he hasn't played to the standards that so many predicted?This is what I get for defending a cat.

Just an observation. I see you constantly ####ting on some of the leagues most talented backs (LT2/ADP) like they're Tatum Bell and Trung Candidate and I wonder if you hold yourself to the same standards.(don't bother to respond)

I'm saying he hasn't played even close to the standards people predicted. Sure, he's good. Chester has been playing better, though. That doesn't imply Peterson isn't a good player. It just looks like Taylor is better. I'm not sure how that says that Peterson is a lousy player.

Schaub's been getting his ### kicked for the first half and has been mostly ineffective.

I bet if he was playing well he'd remain in the game.

 
They just said left knee injury, questionable to return. Sage is looking good though, so I doubt he returns.

 
Houston WR Anderson scores on a quick pass. He again showed off the queerest TD dance ever imagined.
