Week 16 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Thursday nights are killing me! I didnt start Rhodes because A) reports had Addai playing when I left the house thursday night and B) none of my other RBs were hurt . . . Now I have Portis and Lynch BOTH about to not play!?!?!

I hope some solid info comes out soon so I can plug in Jon Stewart for ONE of them at least. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

 
I can't believe this. First my opponent has McClain...and our scoring gives a 2 pt bonus for 100 yards and a 2 pt bonus for TDs over 40 yards. He got 18 points on one play.

Then so far today, the Patriots and Saints each have 4 TDs. I have Morris, Moss, Brees, and Colston. Nothing. :excited:

Freaking Warner can't throw the ball in NE today. Have Fitz in with 1 catch. Ugh. Sad effort by the cards today.

 
Started Hill over Ryan, started Bruce, big game returning to St. Louis. The Dallas Def gives up 30+, no championship here.

 
After a nice start with Wayne and Witten I'm getting crushed going against Rivers, Ben, Colston, VJax, Welker, and PThomas in a PPR. Oh, and I started TJ who got me exactly zero points.

Oh well, I won it all last year. Can't complain about second this year.

Grrrrr...I agree! I was sitting pretty good in my money league until that crap. Have to seriously sweat it out in the 2nd half games now. Need Westbrook and DeAngelo Williams to have solid games now...

Good analogy.....and I also had Calvin Johnson with the TD called back in the same league.
 
Can someone tell me why Matt Cassell threw for 250 yards AFTER the game was in hand? Why wouldn't NE just grind it out in the snow...

 
This is the worst football day I can ever remember...

The Steelers got slammed.

I'm getting hammered in all three of my fantasy championship games. I don't even have a chance at winning any of them. McNabb is killing me. Calvin Johnson killed me earlier. I'm facing the Tennessee D in two of the games, and I benched them in the one league where I own them (and played freaking Cleveland, way to overthink it).

I lost every single game I bet on...NE/ARI Under, MIA/KC Under, PIT -2, TB -3, and it's looking like MIN -3 is a dud. I also lost all three bets yesterday. 0-8 this weekend.

I am sweating in my suicide pool with Houston, when I should have taken NE like I had pegged all week.

In my weekly pick pool, I am getting trashed with only five games picked correctly...which will probably knock me out of the top 3.

Seriously, nothing went right today. It is depressing...

 
Venting one week later... sat Thigpen last week on Sunday AM due to 40 mph winds and played Favre. Thigpen outscored Favre by 7 fantasy pts. I lost in the semifinals by 4 pts. :(

I am currently CRUSHING the finalists this week, particularly the team I would have been playing against. :bag:

 
NO's running game. I was surprised they didn't drag Dalton Hilliard and Ironhead out to score. JUST GIVE THE BALL TO PIERRE!!!!!!

at qb i went with shaub over warner which was a good decision but still terrilbe

lynch i did not start and instaed started deshaun foster. turned out i was right about lynch not finishing the game but he still scored

Should have started Delhomme over Warner. I knew I should have gone with my gut. I still have a good chance to win, but I'd be virtually guaranteed a win if I had Delhomme in since my opponent has Steve Smith and Mason Crosby left against my 36 point cushion.

 
Looking for Andre Johnson or Roddy White. Thanks for doing nothing boys! Now I need Steve Smith to go insane tonight to win the super bowl! Rahhhhhh!

Schaub was a huge disappointment. I started him over Romo. Hopefully it won't cost me. I also started Big Ben over Cassel. Big Ben had a nice game, but not as good as Cassel. Hopefully that one won't cost me either.

 
Still in in but need miracles from smith jennings olsen and pack D.

could of been ahead if I just started colston and shaincoe.

 
Sat Fitz for Evans at the last moment as I was an underdog. Was feeling brilliant until...........

Now I need 21 pts from the NYG D/ST instead of 6 in a league that does not give many pts to D/STs.

That was a nice $1k lineup error :rolleyes: :shrug: :confused:

Lost my league title game for the 5th time in 9 years and it's always on a "unreal" type of loss. Unlike the past 4 where I lost by a combined less then 15, I will get blown out this year thanks to him getting 41 from his TE and K and Childress deciding that his RB isn't very good and not worth giving the ball to that much.

And I should be able to win in another league to get to the week 17 title game but I won't be able to use Peyton when I get there. Woo hoo.

 
I had a 41 point advantage going into tonight....championship game.

I have Forte to go.....he had D. Williams, S. Smith and Bears D.

Now I'm down 4....he will start with a 19 point lead on me.
