For ranking purposes, I am assuming PPR.

If you vote other, please let me know who you would like added for the next poll.

1. Larry Fitzgerald 8/31/83 65% (Cal. Johnson, 23%)

2. Calvin Johnson 9/25/85 60% (A. Johnson, 30%)

3. Andre Johnson 7/11/81 73% (Marshall, 12%)

4. Brandon Marshall 3/23/84 33% (Smith, 13%)

5. Greg Jennings 9/21/83 61% runoff (Smith, 39%)

6. Steve Smith 5/12/79 25% (Colston, 17%)

7. Marques Colston 6/5/83 24% (White, 21%)

8. Roddy White 11/2/81 55% runoff (Wayne, 45%)

9. Randy Moss 2/13/77 30% (Wayne, 29%)

10. Reggie Wayne 11/17/78 45% (Boldin, 28%)

11. Anquan Boldin 10/3/80 52% (Bowe, 23%)

12. Dwayne Bowe 9/21/84 48% (Edwards, 22%)

Welker should beat out Edwards in a PPR format. Both are young, but Welker will put up 40 more catches than Edwards every season as long as Tom Brady is throwing the ball in NE. Their yards should be about the same each year. That means that Edwards will need to score 7 more TDs than Welker to outpeform him in a given year, assuming my above statements hold true. Give me Welker.

edwards will win this poll but I would rather have welker (or even chance it with crabtree), way more consistent points with welker and he can actually catch.

Agreed...the guy is good for 100+ receptions for the next five-seven years. The fact he was able to get 100+ without Brady should only increase his value.

How many WRs other than Jerry Rice & Marvin Harrison have strung together more than 3 100 catch seasons?

eta - Harrison

What about ROY!!!!!! When does he get added to the list!!!
Probably about the same time TO does.
Younger, and will be a #1 reciever after this year, but he'll pop up at the same time.....sure i hope your draftin in my dynasty!

I don't know. TO puts up numbers and may still have 2-3 good years in him. I'm not sure Roy has 2-3 good years in him. Not saying I'd vote for TO at WR #13 just saying I'd probably take him over Roy. I'm not sure either of them are in my top-20.

Roy is young and they traded away the world for him for a reason....plus TO wont be in Dallas long.....TO's only chance is Oaktown and he will not produce......I did not say Roy should be 13 either...however he should be on the list to vote at this point

Depends on the scoring format here.

PPR, Welker for sure (probably should've gone a while ago). Non-ppr I'd roll the dice on Crabtree over any of these guys.

So you're saying he's top 20. Good luck with that. He has the potential, but there's no way I draft him as a top 20 WR. 30 maybe.

This is for Dynasty so I thought I would post last years WR DYNASTY rankings........

1. Larry Fitzgerald 8/31/83 33% [Wayne 28%] - No change, nor should there have been

2. Reggie Wayne 11/17/78 28% [Moss 15%] - No way this guy deserved an 8 spot drop. None.

3. Andre Johnson 7/11/81 41% [Moss 29%] - see Fitz

4. Braylon Edwards 2/21/83 46% [Moss 29%] - This is a perfect example of why at least one guy at the top of this year's list is a mistake.

5. Randy Moss 2/13/77 44% [Colston 23%] - Good spot in '08. Drop in '09 was warranted, but maybe not 4 spots

6. Marques Colston 6/5/83 39% [sSmith 29%] - I'm a huge Saints fan. This guy was overrated then and he's overrated now.

7. Steve Smith 5/12/79 46% [Chad Johnson 23%] - Decent position in 08 after Testaverde debacle. People now remember.

8. Chad Johnson 1/9/78 46% [Marshall 28%] - Man, we screwed this up.

9. Brandon Marshall 3/23/84 51% [boldin 18%] - Another great year gives him a deserved bump.

10. Anquan Boldin 10/3/80 31% [Calvin Johnson 17%] - We're still not giving this guy enough credit around here.

11. Calvin Johnson 9/25/85 23% [Roy Williams 21%] - Breakout year puts him where he belongs.

12. Roy Williams 12/20/81 28% [TJ Houshmandzadeh 23%] - Another Shark Pool masterpiece. Oof.

13. Santonio Holmes 3/3/84 27% [TJ Houshmandzadeh 22%] - Guy had no place being this high.

14. TJ Houshmandzadeh 9/26/77 32% [Greg Jennings 16%] - Cincy strikes the SP again.
Overall not a terrible grade for the Pool. Middle "B" I think. Interesting that we didn't seem to put some absurd premium on youth the way we are this year.

All good points, especially on Wayne. I disagree on Chad, he was injured pretty badly and decided to try and play through it instead of sitting out. That combined with Palmer out is a season to be forgotten. With both healthy this season he'll be back top 10, even though in this poll I'm sure he won't make top-20 if we go that far.
