This is kind of a long post BUT I know I hate going back and forth between places to get all of the details.
This is MAINLY a live draft at PLANET HOLLYWOOD in Las Vegas on Thursday September 10th before the NFL kickoff game in a panorama suite. We look to have 8-9 live drafters RIGHT NOW and need 3-4 more to join us there or online to draft with us.

* Switched to FFPC scoring - ie - 1.5 points per reception for tight ends

* NO free agency - some owners have enough teams and wanted NO maintenance
* Pays 1st and 2nd ONLY with 10 owners (we can tweak)
* Pays 1st, 2nd and 3rd with 12 owners (we can tweak)
* Still offer option for ONLINE drafter or drafters (I think we can get 1 or 2 with the format changes)

THE BIG PICTURE: I am heading to Vegas on September 10, 2009 and am looking to continue for the 3rd year- my private AUCTION league with some guys I have played with or have gotten to know over the years in various fantasy football leagues. THIS LEAGUE is an extension/add on to that and will no doubt have many of the same players! We will be renting a really nice 2,100 SF suite with a 52" plasma TV (at Planet Hollywood) - talk football and have a fun time! This league will consist of 10-12 franchises. The regular season will start with NFL Week 1 and run through NFL Week 16 .
THIS LEAGUE WILL DRAFT PRIOR TO THE NFL GAME - SAY 3:15 PM OR 3:30 PM VEGAS TIME.
DETAILS:
• There will 10-12 teams in this league.
• There will be 1 divisions of 10-12 teams each.
• This is a re-draft league - meaning - if we can keep getting to Vegas each year, we will all start with clean slates.
• The league’s website will be run right here on www.myfantasyleague.com
• The NFL Season starts on Thursday, September 10, 2009.
• We will play a 16 week regular season corresponding the NFL Weeks 1-16 - it is a TOTAL POINTS ONLY league.
• The franchise fee is $500 – prizes will be shared as follows:
Total Prize Pool = $ 5,000 to $6,000
Less League Expenses (food, website and suite) = $ 250 (splitting costs with auction league)
Prizes to Distribute = $ 4,750 to $5,750
1st = $3,750/$4,000
2nd = $1,000/$1,250
3rd IF 12 teams = $0/$500
THE NITTY GRITTY:
• ROSTER – You must have a total roster of 26 players. The roster can be made up of any configuration you please as long as you meet the minimum roster requirements to field a starting lineup of 10 players. There is a flexible lineup that allows you each week the ability to start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DT/ST and 2 FLEX players (RB, WR or TE)
• THE DRAFT – Each franchise will have their draft order determined randomly after all teams have signed up and paid. The draft will then run in serpentine order 1-12, 12-1, 1-12 and so forth for a total of 26 rounds.
• LINEUPS & SCORING – The scoring is identical to a major national contest with 1.5 PPR for TE's. You SHOULD click on “scoring rules” from the home page and see the full details there. THE WEB SITE SCORING RULES ARE THE ONES IN EFFECT!! There is NO setting of lineups - you will AUTOMATICALLY get the best possible scoring lineup each and every week.
YES - it is FFPC SCORING - a pretty good and flexible system.
• LINEUP SUBMISSION – As mentioned earlier - there is NO lineup submission - the site decides your best starting lineups automatically.
• FREE AGENTS – There are NO FREE AGENTS - so draft accordingly and plan well.
