Let's talk about D. Ward's value (1 Viewer)

So D. Ward was being projected as a #2 RB this year and predicted by many as a sleeper to produce 1500 all purpose yards with 8-10 TDs.

Now that Caddy is atop the depth chart, what's the intial thoughts around how this will affect Ward's value?

I have Ward. I'm not ready to panic yet. I'm going to hold onto him for a few weeks and see how it works out. Caddy might not even make it a few weeks before another injury.

If you're in a PPR league, I'm thinking that Ward still has some value. Even if he only gets 10-12 touches a game. If 4-6 of those are receptions, he still can be useful.

He also has the goods to break a long screen pass to the house. Might have to wait and see...

I'd put more stock in the 40/40/20% split than a depth chart. Either way, Ward's value takes a dip.

You're probably right, but Ward is no longer worth $22. or maybe he is.... :moneybag:

Agree. I drafted WR early because I loved what he did in NY. Apparently TB isn't as impressed with him, so I'm looking to trade a WR and make him a backup for me
