Ellis isn't a top pass rusher. And while Pace is out, Gholston could be an adequate replacement there. The Jets will just be blitzing a lot all season long. With Pace/Thomas/Gholston, the Jets should have good pass rush at the OLB spot. Ellis' replacement there with a nice FR.

He just isn't a pass rusher. He gets some sacks when the play breaks down, but he wasn't a very good pass rusher a 4-3 end and he's not a good pass rusher as a 3-4 end.

Jets have been overpowering Houston. Schaub hasn't had a lot of time to find his guy, and Revis is most likely doing a good job covering AJ (we haven't seen on TV). I think Johnson has only one target. Houston hasn't gone out of its way to get him the ball, but right now the Jets D is just controlling the game.

The line play has been real good on both sides of the ball for gang green. Got burned by a couple screens but they're really sharp so far. Seems like other than that free run by DeMarco, Sanchez has had plenty of time to go through his progressions.
