This will be pinned once the game starts.

If you have comments that may help other fantasy owners regarding player performance, please elaborate on what you see in this thread.

Hopefully Houston's offense shows up today or this could be a long game.
I have a bad feeling about Houston's offense today. The Titans home opener, plus heavy rain combined with no Kevin Walter does not equal a big offensive showing.
Rain could help both offenses. Chris Johnson, Slaton, Andre Johnson, etc., all know which way they are going to cut. It's the defenders who slip trying to adjust. Could be interesting.

I think this is a bounce back game for Andre Johnson if the Titans give the Texans receivers as much room as they gave the Steelers. Schaub still throws a couple of picks IMO.

heard a college coach this week says these same remarks with one change:he said that only holds true if IT ISN'T RAINING DURING THE GAME

he said defense has advantage if moderate or heavy rain during game

Now you see what CJ can do when they get him involved in the passing game. I give Pit's D credit last week, but the Titans gave up too easily in that game (using CJ more).

I have serious Man Love for this guy. What a player.
As a Titans homer, I was glad to see CJ didn't slow down (much) at the goal line and hold the ball out towards the defender, like he did for half his TDs last year. I hope Fisher put an end to that during the off season.

That right there is the sign of poor coaching. You HAVE to get that XP team out on the field and kicking that ball before Fisher has a chance to see the replay.

Texans blew that big time, regardless of the outcome. They've likely cost themselves 7 points.

Yup.If I were a HC, my kicking team would be sprinting out onto the field after a TD and snapping ASAP. Why even give them a chance to look at it?

I'm sorry, but that was the biggest bunch of BS ever that they called that catch a TD. If Murphy's TD on Monday didn't count then that one shouldn't have either. The NFL needs to review that rule big time.

I don't know that it should have been a TD with the way the rule may be right now. I don't think it's explicit enough of how long after contact with the ground possession has to be maintained. But I think the rule should read in a way that play is a touchdown. I think a well-done rule for it would be you should have to maintain possession through your initial impact with the ground that makes you down. Hitting the ground to where you are down, keeping possession, and subsequently rolling additional times, or being flipped over another player and hitting the ground additional times and then losing the ball shouldn't be an incompletion.

I agree completely, but I'm just saying it seems the rule is open for too much opinion by each official. If you compare the Murphy non-TD on Monday Night to that then that catch was not a catch. So the NFL has to make it clear what the rule is so it can be applied the same in every case. Seems dependant upon the officiating crew right now.

Britt was getting dragged from behind and hit another defender bended his back backwards. Hard to say how hurt
