The immovable object vs the unstoppable force (1 Viewer)

Houston has a horrible defense. They have given up:

100 yds & 2 TDs to Thomas Jones

190 yds & 3 TDs to Chris Johnson

110 yds & 3 TDs to MJD and another rushing TD to David Garrard

The counterpoint is that the Raiders are absolutely horrible on offense. They looked good vs SD but then Russell couldnt complete a pass two weeks in a row vs KC & DEN and so they cant move the ball. McFadden has looked decent in the limited opportunities hes had but hes had fumble problems. And will HOU go up so big that they force OAK to pass?

Does anybody dare roll out McFadden or Bush vs this sieve like defense?

With byes I am rolling with McFadden in 3 leagues. I've started him every week but he'll go to the bench for me if he can't score against Houston.

One of those matchups that feels like I have to start him, whether I want to or not.

If you look at the Jets/Houstan game T Jones got 107 & 2 scores, Leon Washing got 60 yards. It feels to me that although they are not the same back in style of running and size, Washington is more like a McFadden and Bush is more like a T Jones. So maybe Bush has the better game? Anyone want to chime in if i'm correct on Washington/DMC and Jones/Bush similaritys?

I'm probably playing Bush in the flex, which probably means they'll fall behind early and have to abandon the running game near the end of the 1st Q. :loco:

Sadly enough, I think Oak would have a better offense if they lined McFadden up at QB and ran the Wildcat the rest of the year.

It's tough -- I think there needs to be a Raiders weight that you have to throw in to these calculations. Like, you analyze a RB2 type of back on a team that likes to run against a team that has a weak run defense, then downgrade your estimate by about 50% because of the Raider factor and the possibility that Russell throws two interceptions in the first quarter.

Any reasons to believe Russell does anything in this game?

If Hasselback cant go, Ryan on bye, and Quinn who knows what....I need a spot starter.

Henne stinks

Wallace at IND I dont like too much

That's funny, but they need to just pound the rock. The less Russell passes, the more positive plays that offense will get. All those incompletions are missed opportunities in the run game.
