hey UH...I see the roady is also in the thread, about to throw hisGood luck today, Broncos fans. It's a little drizzley here in Charm City right now & temps are in the 50s. I've doubted Denver as a paper tiger most of the season, but I've come around & think they're a formidable team. The Ravens have put themselves in a must-win spot. I think they pull out a close one for a change: 20-16.
Purple in a tough one...23-17I certainly aggree here roady...Den, @Cinncy, @Indy, @GB 2 with 'Stillers---ouch!if we're to have a fleeting shot at this....MUST win todayNo prediction but this is as close to a must-win game for the Ravens as can happen in their seventh game. A loss today and I don't know where they're gonna find 7 or 8 more wins and make the playoffs. The improvement by both Denver and Cincy makes their schedule a pretty daunting one.
'Sup, rf? I'd like to see an assertive run game too. Gaither's back so maybe that'll help. But I think the D has to establish itself today somehow.hey UH...I see the roady is also in the thread, about to throw hisGood luck today, Broncos fans. Happy Standard Time Day, rk. I don't know if I see 7 or 8 more wins even if they win today. Maybe actually beating a good team like Denver will change my mind a little. No prediction but this is as close to a must-win game for the Ravens as can happen in their seventh game. Definitely bringing it early here.Good start for the Birds' D
Bad non-call there - but Mason can't blow up. That stuff happens all the time and sometimes it gets called and sometimes it doesn't.
Harbaugh and Cam both got in his face on the sideline for that, too.Big hit by Ed Reed but will the fumble call stand? He's in. Had a good run & just got blown up by Reed on a screen, which they're reviewing for whether he fumbled (the call on the field). What happened to Moreno?
That is right on the very edge of a catch vs non catch - so since it was ruled a fumble it most likely stays a fumble.
It was damned close. Whichever way it was called on the field would've stood, I think. They always do that. I remember Ray Lewis doing it in a game earlier this season after the RB converted a 3rd and short. He was all happy about his hit, ignoring the fact that they gave up the first down. It's what they do.What is up with the Ravens having to dance after every routine play?
Partly because of their very solid secondary, I'm afraid I have more confidence in the Broncos maintaining this level of defensive play than I do the Ravens. That said, if Flacco gets a little time in the pocket and heats up a little, I also feel that the Ratbirds can improve their offensive showing in the second half.
Biggest bust of the year. I was totally wrong about him.Does Eddie Royal even play on offense or is he just a return guy for Denver?
We play the ugliest games against the Ravens - I am not surprised. The positive is that last year we would have quit - the D is still coming.Well, they had to lose sometime, right? 6-1 is more than any of us could have dreamed for. I knew this would be a tough game to win against a desperate Ravens team.
