Game Thread W9 - Green Bay V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

Looking forward to see my Bucs in the Creamsicle. Would love to see our franchise QB step up and have a good first game. More than likely to be an ### whoopin though. Thanks to Leroy, who will be inducted into the TB Ring of Honor at halftime.

Good chunk of the country just got switch from Bears-Cards to this one...should see a few more posts.

Terrible call on the review, but they didn't have the right angle to overturn it.

Can someone tell the idiot announcers doing this game to shut their yaps when the ref is announcing the results of the challenge? That crap drives me nuts. :excited:

For those that are not able to see, Freeman actually looks like he has some NFL potential. I like what I see so far. Clearly a strong arm and looking decent. Don't forget he is only 21 years old. From what I see, I'd say it's most likely he plays the rest of this season. Decent young OLine may make him a good dynasty candidate.

He looked good in his brief stint v. the Giants. Haven't seen him since, and his stats haven't been great, but its hard to judge rookie QBs based soley on box scores. Sure hope someone gives him a shot (I don't think the Bucs will long term), kid has some talent - great arm and good running ability.

There is Jennings...nice catch...nice pick up by Rodgers.

And then just dumb throwing into quadruple coverage...but at least it was intended fo rJennings.

Is Jennings getting douibled an trippled all game? or does Rogers just not like throwing to him? He seems to have great games and throw to everyone but Jennings - Jennings is a well paid decoy I guess

Last 2 passes intended for him.First one on 3rd and 5 for the first down...next one on a deep pass into a lot of coverage that was intercepted.

Can someone explain to me why the Packers are afraid to run the ball?
Started out this drive running...then went for the play action deep ball and nobody was fooled. But I agree...they should be sticking a lot to the run game against this Tampa team right now.

No idea, but it is classic Mike McCarthy.
Grant has 16 carries in 2.5 quarters
And instead of sticking with what is working, they're winging it down the field to players that are not open.
Yes and no...when its working, that is the time to go play action.
Sure. But it doesn't seem like it has been there today, so why keep pushing it?

Now you want to talk about not running it.

1st and 10 in the redzone...2 straight passes after the long Green run.

2 straight incomplete passes.

Nice to see Rodgers actually escape the blitz and feel the pressure that time.

Also nice hearing the Go Pack Go chants on the road.
