oh, and when is the Chicago D going to show up? Last week Warner gets punked, this week he is freaking Joe Montana
from a Bears fan point of view.I feel your pain ... struggled with a Portis vs Maroney decision. Obviously I picked wrong. Few things suck more than the early injury leaving you with a week-crippling hole in your lineup. To beat myself up more, I look at Betts' numbers and think "That should've been Clinton's!"Portis is going to leave me with .4 at one RB... Opponent has Turner and Addai.. I need Brees to have a 6 TD day..

try owning Witten...How many TD's will Gates have the rest of the year?a) 0b) 0c) 0d) 0He's killing me. Let's triple cover Gates and leave the nickel corner on Vincent Jackson. Great idea!
I'll join that support group. Benched McNabb for Cutler (against the Browns) last week. Started McNabb this week and Cutler goes off.My god....I can never start the right QB... Cutler on my bench. FML
Add Witten to this list. I'm not picking up Finley (if he's healthy) or Z. Miller and they will be replacing Witten from now on in my starting lineup. At least my expectations will be lower with these guys and they actually have a chance in hell of hitting pay dirt. The following players have lost any stud statuseSean JacksonAntonio GatesBrandon MarshallGreg JenningsThese guys are destroying my fantasy team. Jackson is so hit and miss that he can't be counted on.
I lost primarily due to a 52 yard David Akers FG.Congratulations Andy Reid you overrated fatass. You only lost by 4.
That made me laugh. My putrid fantasy season has endured many moments like that. What a horrible way to lose.lmao he had 2 weeks where he didnt score more then 9pts..this week included. The following players have lost any stud status:
DeSean Jackson
Antonio Gates
Brandon Marshall
Greg Jennings

Amen, brother!I lost because the Steelers were throwing the ball to Ward with 2 minutes left up 11. That was unbelievable. How stupid is that? First you take the chance of an incomplete pass stopping the clock, and you take the chance of a pick six the other way.
Me too, I was up by 4 points and my opponent had Hines Ward. Un#######believable that they didn't just run the clock out. Oh yeah, and I was playing against Warner who comes out of the game because they are winning by so much, only to come back in and throw a 5th TD. Lost by 2.#### like this makes me not even want to play anymore.I lost because the Steelers were throwing the ball to Ward with 2 minutes left up 11. That was unbelievable. How stupid is that? I immediately thought of this thread when that play went down, even though it didn't cost me a win. Absolutely no reason to do that other than to make their end of the year stats look better. That had to a straight kick in the crotch for those who lost because of that absurdity.I lost because the Steelers were throwing the ball to Ward with 2 minutes left up 11. That was unbelievable. Sorry that the Steelers weren't trying to cater to peoples' fantasy teams. They were up by 11 pts with a minute and a half to go and I believe the Broncos still had a timeout left (although I could be wrong about that). Lets say the Steelers just kneel on the ball and kick the fg. Then lets assume they kick off and the Broncos run it back for a td. Then, lets assume they recover the onside kick. Now wouldn't you rather be up 28-10 than 24-10 at this point? I realize these are unlikely events but they're still possible. The Steelers ensured that there would be 0 percent chance of losing that game. Given the way they've performed in the 4th quarter this year, I don't blame them one bit for going for that extra td. Obviously people have a right to vent in here but I think it's silly to call that play "absurd".I immediately thought of this thread when that play went down, even though it didn't cost me a win. They did not have a timeout, and that's what makes the move make no sense at all. They could have taken the clock down to about 40 seconds with a safe run. Assume they don't score, they go for it on 4th down with another safe run. Take it down to about 35 seconds and Denver takes over inside their own 5 yard line needing 2 scores in 35 seconds with no time outs. Frankly I think they should have taken a knee in that situation to force just that scenario.A short pass toward the sidelines that is intercepted is very frequently returned for a TD. Then a successful onside kick could lead to them winning the game. If they take a knee there, they win a million times out of a million in that situation. I don't advocate kicking a FG in any case. Make them go 95 yards and then score again in 35 seconds. It can't be done. That TD pass was all about vanity and nothing else.fred_1_15301 said:Sorry that the Steelers weren't trying to cater to peoples' fantasy teams.
