Arian Foster (Hou) rb activated (1 Viewer)

No Way Jose

Heard from someone very close to Arian that he will be activated for the Texans Monday night game. I follow UT football very closely and he was great rb for them. He was very powerful and catches the ball quite well out of the backfield, but he was also plagued by the fumbles. I hope he gets a few carries and shows what he can do. I thought it was a good sign when they didn't sign LJ so I think that they really like him.

One owner in my dynasty league has had him rostered since our rookie draft and has hyped him pretty big. I'm actually sort of interested to see him play, assuming he gets a couple of carries.

This is the kind of situation that dynasty leaguers should be keeping an eye on, imho. That HOU backfield doesn't seem totally dialed in yet... maybe Foster can edge his way in as as short yardage guy and turn that into more? Odds are against him, but not impossible.

Drew Dougherty, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans RB Arian Foster saw his workload increase during practice Tuesday, Nov. 17, and he will be considered as another possibility in the running game.

If you asked me to name one thing I remember about Arian Foster's college career it would have to be his uncanny ability to always fumble it either inside the 5 yard line or at the absolut worst time...sometimes both.

He'll fit right in on the 2009 Texans.

I have an offer on the table to get Slaton for a 2012 5th and a 2012 6th. This news regarding Foster makes this trade look pointless now. What a cluster****.

Yep, he's a fumbler and if he does tonight, he's done. Kubiak won't stand for a rookie to fumble the way Slaton does.

I dont see how the former can be true if you concluded the latter. He definitely had some big games, but disappeared far too often to be considered even "good", let alone "great".

He finished his college career second on the Vols all-time rushing list, despite playing for a pretty bad UT team for his four years. I don't mean to imply that Foster is a future NFL star by any means, but to say he wasn't good at UT is ludicrous.
