All polls will run minimum of 12 hours.

Assume you have a balanced roster for the league type and no specific need.

If you don't play in one of the above leagues, or have no opinion on the ranking of rookies in that league feel free not to vote in that particular poll.

If other please specify for which league and I will add to next polls, unless enough others to win poll

Looks good. I love Jeter's polls and appreciate all his efforts, but this should help keep from too many polls going on at once.

FYI, if you try to leave one blank the poll answers will not submit. Or at least it didn't for me when I tried it.

If DYNASTY? Bryant in all of them, imo...Matthews is the only other option.

In RE-DRAFT? Going with Matthews in standard/2QB

You should probably include a null vote for each option. I have never played 2 QB leagues before, so I have no clue as to the value of players in that type of league.

is Non-PPR really "standard" anymore?

Dez in all except 2QB where I would take Bradford. It's just too hard to come by a good starting QB and IMO Bradford has the potential to be top 6ish.

If I'm going to be nitpicky, lineups are key to positional value. let's presume Mathews and Dez have the same potential to be top 5, top 10, top 20 or bust (IMO a fair assumption). In a league where you have to start 2 RBs and 3 WRs without flex, Mathews would be worth more. In a league with "total flex" they'd be worth about the same. In a league where you start 0-2 RBs, 3-5 WRs, Dez is the easy pick.

If you're anti-risk but for whatever reason can't trade the pick, you take Mathews. If you're shooting for upside and don't mind risk, I think the pick is Dez. Anyone picking Dez just has to be aware that the bust factor is high - not as high as it was for Charles Rogers but more than it was for Fitz or Calvin.

Your right there isn't a standard, the biggest trend in fantasy football lately doesn't have to do with drafting but is customization, down to every little detail. When I say standard I'm referring to leagues were you don't have to state anything extra and you know what I'm talking about.

I have the 1.01 and I'm trying to trade down one spot to take Spiller there. If I can't, I'll still pick Spiller over Mathews. (I like Dez's skill, but I'm worried about any player that sits out a whole year--he slipped pretty far and I don't think a wide receiver taken #24 overall warrants #1 FF talk.)

I've noticed a lot of posters on this site going bananas over Mathews's situation--I think Mathews has the look of a decent NFL RB and he definitely landed in a situation that warrants consideration at the #1 overall spot, but he doesn't jump off the television screen. His top-end speed looks too slow on film. (I know he ran a 4.59 or something at the combine but he looks much slower in pads.) He has good moves but not great, he doesn't seem terribly difficult to bring down (even for those MAC kids). He just doesn't have that pop, even on his highlight films. His numbers look good, his FootballOutsiders rating is very good, his vision looks great, but he just doesn't have the look of a #1 overall dynasty pick.

Spiller looks special to me. He has that pop--it's more than just his speed. He accelerates and separates like very few prospects before him. In everything I watch, his vision looks very good--he hops outside a little too much, but not as much as folks have been saying the last few days. His abilities to run between the tackles and break initial tackles are greatly underrated on this board, too. It's not hard to find video of him moving piles, being very difficult to bring down, and maintaining his balance while being drilled by linebackers. He's also made some highlight catches and has good hands. And he played in a conference that just put 31 players into the NFL--the MAC had 5 draft picks. When you watched Spiller last year, he was out-quicking, juking, running away from NFL-quick d-backs and was bouncing off NFL talent linebackers.

I'll select Spiller even in Buffalo. Mathews will probably have a better rookie season, but in dynasty "good situation" should play a distant second fiddle to talent.
