Any of you guys in Ft. Lauderdale?

We've got a cool event planned Wednesday night and was looking for a roll call of our Ft. Lauderdale FBGs. Check in here.

Bummer, used to live in the Fort Lauderdale area. How did I end up in Kansas? What was I thinking? Have a good time, whatever you guys are doing.

I would encourage others to do the same. Your posts have become worn out and tiresome. Your jealousy towards Joe and many of the other posters here is sad. But the good news is we can simply ignore you until you finally break enough posting rules in here to be permabanned.

Anyone that might not know how to use the ignore abilities on your profile simply PM me and I will be glad to show you how to do it. If you look in your profile setting though you can find the "Manage ignore list", pull that up and simply type in the user name and you'll never have to read nonsense like this again.

Seriously? Grow up and just ask 'em to put you on staff instead of slobbering on anything a mod might notice in an attempt to finally get an offer from JB.While he might make some other comments that are worthy of your response, the response you DID go off on was a harmless joke.

I can think of few things done on this board that reek of less class and more immaturity than those who not only announce they've put someone on ignore but those who start openly lobbying for others to do the same.

You make some great posts/threads but you make so many immature ##### filled rant posts it's getting close to the tipping point of putting you on ignore as well.

Yes, Take I-95 to St Rd 84, go East about 3 blocks. I have never been myself either. If we can get 10-12 FBGs to show than let's do a draft. Short rosters, best ball, something simple.

I'm thinking free league, what are you thinking? :confused: I'll start taking a roll call. I spoke to the owner, he has been promoting this for several weeks he said but he was unsure how many folks are going to show tomorrow night. My feeling is let's get 10-12 from this board and show them how it's done. If we come up a couple folks short there will be patrons at the bar that will want to play/draft. Short rosters...like 14. QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Def, PK...best ball. 10-12 teams, survivor format if more show up, draft will be done inside of 2 hours. Event starts at 7:00 but the Shark Pool draft can have a start time of 7:30-8:00 so we can meet each other and have a good laugh at my expense. Owner is running bucket(5) specials on both domestic and import, also specials on wings with a pitcher of beer. If I ask Twilight real nicely he might let us put the rosters up on his site where the PDSL, SSL and such are kept track of. If not we'll just use the draft forum and post the rosters. Sign UpsMOP, Aerolaw, keep 'em coming
 
I am in for this.

See you peeps tomorrow night. It will be fun to draft to for ####s and giggles.

I will bring a pen and pad to write my team roster on. Better go pick up a cheap rag to have a list of players (I know most of them..but you know got to represent myself here lol)

That's the website and they have the event listed on the left hand side. Starts at 7 and is supposed to run till approx 10 but it's a bar so I doubt they'll mind if we run over. Look for me, I'll be walking around in my standard issue Tommy Bahama :thumbup:

I have no idea how many of their regular folks are going to be there, but at the very least stop by and have a beer with me and we'll talk football. Dolphinsfans should be in full force.

The event was a lot of fun. Got to sit down and talk about the good ole days with several from the board. It was nice to be able to talk about Marino and the Monday Night game against Chicago, we had a few people that were long time season ticket owners. We had a lot of people at this particular bar that didn't know FF too well. They definitely would like to learn but this board would make their head spin and it got me thinking about a couple things.

Although it seems like in here we have hundreds of people who take FF really seriously(perhaps too much at times) that when you look at the large portion of FF owners out there, many of them could not hold a conversatiuon with many on these boards. You can understand why guys in here are actually wanting to compete with other FBGs in dynasty leagues etc, the avg Joe is not armed with the same info or knowledge as many of us. Maybe sometimes though we out think ourselves.

The event was fun, the bar had a nice set up, and I would definitely go back during the season
