Percy Harvin gets injured. He is on the sideline holding his leg.

Dierdorff doesn't seem to know what happened. Says he might have gotten the wind knocked out of him.

God I hate this guy. Why does CBS keep bringing this ####### back every year?

 
It's not even half time for the Lions and I'm already venting about Jahvid Best. I benched him this week in place of Jamaal Charles.

Best: 2 touchdowns, 162 total yards.

Charles: 0 touchdowns, 10 total yards.

UPDATE

Best: 3 touchdowns, 232 total yards

Charles: 0 touchdowns 76 total yards

Same.Edit;; If I had Best, Dolphins Defense, I would have sealed the game. Instead I only have a 40pt lead, 4 players for him, 2 of mine.

Also, wtf is goin on in Buffalo? Who picks a guy 9th overall and gives him ONE CARRY?

 
I thought Flacco would do to Cincinatti what Brady did.. so I benched Cutler for Flacco.

WRONG.

I thought Bradshaw would do to INdy what Foster did, so I benched Best for him... I seriously doubt Bradshaw (even if he has a good game) comes anywhere near Best's day.

 
Not for FF but my Titans looked very rough today, VY will show what he's made of now. Just hope it works better than 2008 did.

 
Benched Best for Brandon Jackson ... I feel sick to my stomach just looking at my team page and those 46 points on my bench :X

 
Losing Mathews in the 1st quarter kinda hurt......then seeing Randy beating Revis for a 34 yd TD catch hurt even more. FML

Benched MSW in 2 leagues.

Thought about starting Cutler over Brady, didn't do it. Brady wasn't awful, but Cutler was much better.

Meanwhile, most of my studs collectively wet the bed. This could be a very ugly week!

 
Losing Matthews may cost me. If I had him I think I win easily. Instead I'm up 1.5 with San Fran D against Vinateri to finish it out.

Frustrating.

 
I think I will probably win this week, but my team is still starting to scare me. Thanks to Jahvid Best and Miles Austin, I may squeek by again this week though..

People that underperformed for me this week...

Ray Rice - Not terrible, but not #1 pick production so far.

Greg Jennings - Terrible week, while my opponent put up tons of points with Aaron Rodgers

Hines Ward (WR/TE Flex) - Terrible week.

Heath Miller - Terrible week.

Cadillac Williams (WR/RB Flex) - Terrible weak.

Patriots Defense - Terrible week.

Neil Rackers did well for a kicker, and Austin and Best were enough to give me a healthy lead. I'm still waiting on Eli at this point, but something tells me I may have been better off starting Kyle Orton.

Looking at my bench though, I'm terrified about future weeks. C.J. Spiller, Fred Taylor, Michael Bush, and Marion Barber look terrible as flex options along with Caddy. Hines Ward should be ok as my third WR most weeks, I guess. Heath Miller is underachieving so far.

Up by 42 going into tonight's game. My opponent has two left tonight, Addai and Brandon Jacobs, with Devery Henderson going tomorrow night. I have Eli Manning. Should be an easy win, but I'm starting to get nervous.

Addai and Eli's pick has already cut that lead to 30. It's getting closer by the minute. Now I'm worried that the Colts will end up running the ball a ton, as they put up more points and put the game out of reach.

Thank God for Jahvid Best and Miles Austin for at least giving me a chance with the horrible performances of everyone else on my team.

And as I type this, Eli Manning fumbled. Sigh. I knew I should have started Kyle Orton this week.

Benched Nicks for Knox last week and went Nicks this week. Same league went Bradshaw over Best. Projections and most sites supported both moves ... how do you bench Nicks? How do you not go Bradshaw after what Foster did last week. Even so I faced the league's high scorer both weeks and still would have won last week if Calvin got the TD and if CJ2K's long TD hadn't gotten called back.

This is why H2H sucks. Total points is the only measure of who drafted and managed the best team week in and week out.

I heard an interesting concept on Sirius late last year that I want to try. It keeps some of the fun of H2H while letting total points have influence too.Each week you get a W/L for your H2H matchup, and then you get another W/L for total points (top 6 scoring teams get a W, bottom 6 scoring teams get a L).
 
I started Manning and played against Schaub. When I said I started Manning I dont mean the good one. :thumbup:

 
I failed to start Best, who set a record for the most points ever scored on my bench.

I started McFadden instead, who had a good game, but not like Jahvid BEAST.

(I easily won my game anyway)

 
first grant goes down for me and then turner pulls a groin and misses out on an absolute feeding frenzy vs arizona. It was sick to watch snelling racking up all those points when it should have been turner. Gonzo found a way to miss out on the beatdown as well and now i'm ####ed. Total points leagues are great but i'm getting desperate already...just shipped off matt ryan for vjax and hoping he gets traded to the vikings.

 
i have 4 main WRs.

i will start 2 or 3 every week this year.

i will never start the right ones.

last week's wrong choice: johnny knox. (instead of hakeem nicks)

today's wrong choice: hines ward. (instead of nicks or knox)

next week's wrong choice: almost certainly guaranteed to be hakeem nicks.

 
Had J. Best score 44 for me, guessed right on WR's R. Moss, S. Moss and H. Nicks. ####### N.E. Def will probably cost me the win. I hate DeF teams. So random!!!!!!!!!!
